Good start to an app, needs work
I like the idea of this app and how it has videos you can watch of the exercises, but it still needs a lot of work. I’ve used a much better physio app before, eg Virtual Lucy. Here are some tips:
As someone doing physio, I want to be able to:
- Do my exercises just with audio cues. Right now I only hear the “start” cue, no end cue, so I don’t know when to stop a rep. I can’t stare at the phone during all my exercises.
- Hear audio cues for counting reps. Some exercises just say “do 10 reps” without a timer/beep. One solution with the Virtual Lucy app is to allow the user to time themself doing one rep, and then repeat that timer/beep 10 times so the user doesn’t have to count the reps themselves, they can just focus on doing the exercise correctly.
- Skim through the video to the part I want to rewatch. Not just pause/play.
- Skip exercises that are painful. Right now, you have to play through all exercises.
- Pause and rewind the exercises. Sometimes I need to pause the timer because eg I have to get the door. Sometimes I want to redo an exercise because I realized midway I was doing it wrong.

App bugs
This app would be great if it worked. Since last update twice it won’t run my workout so not recorded
Half-baked app
Review is just about the app itself - I’m using it as part of in-person physio and generally it’s a good companion, possibly even replacement for some people.
But app itself feels half baked. Exercise has some sound notifications, which might be helpful if we can’t look at screen, but it’s not synced with reps and breaks. App allows you to fill the checking review form… but doesn’t allow you to send it 🤦♂️ Articles are nice, but it would be good to have some indicators which has been read. The list goes on, they really should hire someone from UX design, or at least test their own app.

Basic
Better free apps with similar exercises and the Physio check-in function does gets stuck on “Do you have additional comments” you cannot advance so a lack of basic software testing or it’s intended to stop feedback being required so management can just say users are not proving feedback.
App not working
App just stuck on a workout, effectively useless
A good substitute
Have been using the app for two months as part of Vitality and so far it’s been good. The only thing I would say is that it would be helpful if you could speak to a human every so often without having to raise a new request.
Is anyone testing this?
Literally stuck at the start. Enter my referral code and year of birth and then press the start physio button but it is unresponsive and does nothing.
Awful app didn’t work at all for me!
Frozen screens which could not get rid of despite refreshing. Installed reinstalled. Countdown large numbers which couldn’t see on mobile . Don’t really feel I got the best out of physio as I can even get into the app this week at all AWFUL no back button.
Crashes on startup
Have been using for a couple of weeks, app has just stopped opening. Support told me to email and I’ve had no response.
The instruction video is clear
The instructions are clear. If the apps could include counting and timing functions to help me keep track of how many repetition I am up to, and how long I am holding onto, this would be brilliant.
So far it is rubbish
I can’t recommend this. I would avoid.
Unusable
Tried accessing app for physio exercises. Every time I open the app it just yields a blank white screen. Fix pls
App never loaded again after first use
The workouts were good whilst I had access to them, but after that the app never loaded beyond a white screen again.
I ended up just using YouTube physio videos

Doesn’t accept password
Unbelievable app, I enter password correctly, then it doesn’t even send it to server for confirmation but automatically shows error saying it should include one upper one lower and a number and be 8+ characters which already have all those…
Physio good, app needs work
The physio exercises themselves are good, but the app is experiencing some issues with one of my exercises.
At first it would only come up for 3 seconds even though it’s supposed to be a 30 second exercise, now it’s saying I need to do 3 repetitions but won’t stop and I cannot progress past the exercise, meaning I have to end a workout early

Crashes immediately
Seemed like a great app for the first few hours I had it but it crashes as soon as I open it now
No response
Terrible app. I’m forced to use this for physio by my health insurance but it’s just generic videos with no indicated support. Nobody responds to the chat or gives any advice, individual programs or support at all. Total waste of time. Pay for a physio if you really want help.
Excellent alternative to visiting a physio
I have been recommended this app by my health professional and so far I think it’s a very beneficial app for recovery from my injury. The app is very easy to navigate, you are given exercises to suit your injury which has clear instructions for you to do at home. The app reminds you to do the workouts. You have a chat facility to discuss anything with a qualified physio. Great app all round.

Buggy, dreadful app
I’ve repeatedly gone through the questionnaire to get care only to have it show a blank screen at the end. I have to force close the app, at which point all my answers are lost. Shamefully bad.
