Great initiative but abysmal execution. Very slow and unreliable page loads. Photo upload doesn’t work.
Could do a lot better
Reducing paper means making processes easier and effective. The form is cumbersome to fill and should be made easy for honest compliance for 80% of the people.
Hassle
As an airline crew doing a return flight from middle east, my belongings are going to remain the same. So i should not be required to fill the arrival declaration separately. It should give me an option to automatically take list of items from the departure page that i just filled. Also there is no guideline at the airports for this. Only mumbai airport is trying half heartedly by asking if we have completed it online. I do not have the time nor roaming data to fill up the arrival crew declaration a second time with the same items that i filled in departure.

New version is useful and good
It is surprisingly smooth and easy to use for something that deals with customs declarations.
It actually saves time in filing.

Absolute rubbish. Unable to log in after creating an account with “Error Please Try Again”
Worst app design
Who ever developed this app is a criminal who has been looting people money. The app sucks. When I try to register it can't even pull up country name is the country of origin section. 3rd class development. Useless app. These people suck at the development of the app and expects everyone to declare precious metals.

Non working app for such a big usecase
This app is supposed to help citizens and others for valuable information, but instead of that it makes the users life miserable with its non working functionality and dumb design. Very regrettable for an app reflecting Indian govt.
Does not work. At all.
Couldn’t get past the first step of registering because no countries showed up in the pick list/search box.
Not that good
The App looks useful but has some serious issues. Beware if entering any dates manually. I can’t be bothered scrolling for ever to enter a date so I usually just type it in. Despite the App displaying dates in the usual format ( dd/mm/yyyy) it takes manual input in the American format (mm/dd/yyyy). I didn’t discover this until after I registered. There is an option to update your profile. It doesn’t work. It will say it has saved the changes but the App will still have the old data in it. There is also no way to delete your account and start again so if like me, you fall foul of the non standard date format you basically can’t use the App.

App doesn’t allow you to register and login. And it doesn’t allow you to reset your password.

It just keep buffering and it doesn’t work at all. Please fix it so many indian foreign nationals living abroad it ll be very useful.

Unable to register
As others mentioned, despite giving all details for signing up the screen ends up in error. It is surprising that after so many negative reviews since 2 years they didn’t make any effort to fix the very basic functionality of user registration. Indian customs is no less than a bribery extraction syndicate and may be that is the reason they deliberately do not want this app to work and travellers to go through legal procedure!
