What's New in Authenticator App

4.4.0

September 14, 2026

Zoho OneAuth for iOS 27 is here. OneAuth, unfolded: Built to adapt to iPhone Duo's wide display, OneAuth resizes fluidly — in landscape or during iPhone mirroring on iPad and Mac — so your codes stay open side-by-side while you work in other apps. Ask the OneAuth assistant to perform quick actions: OneAuth Assistant can take action directly from the conversation, from setting up MFA to finding recovery options. It also answers your "how-to" questions and explains security alerts. Visual summary for account activity: Have a look at your missed notifications, categorized as a pie chart, with critical alerts highlighted. Spot anything you missed at a glance. Find 2FA codes from Spotlight Search: Grab the exact 2FA code you need straight from your iPhone's Spotlight Search, without scrolling past other codes set up with OneAuth. Extra-large Home Screen widget: The new 2FA Focus Widget shows more codes at a glance. You can also scan a QR code directly from the widget to sign in to your Zoho account or add a 2FA account to OneAuth.

Zoho is cool for personal email

I’ve used Zoho for 6 years. For a personal email it’s pretty nice. I don’t need a million recommended features or having Google read all your enrolls and save them, not AI tools to do what I can do easily enough. Zoho OneAuth is a good companion app too.

New Phone, Who Dis?

I recently got a new phone and transferred all of my apps, settings, and so on from my old device to my new one. However, my MFA Auth did not transfer for OneAuth. This is concerning, and contradicts the expectations when doing such a transfer. For what it’s worth, Google, Microsoft, and even Steam Authenticators all worked with the transfer.

Furthermore, the ability to reset the MFA from our account holder was removed and apparently transferred to a new service/system that we would have to purchase to proceed. What? Upselling my company to use a system we previously had access to, that prevents us from doing our job? Again, what?

Ultimately, support was able to help, but only after an hour of phone support and wrangling multiple email addresses into the thread. Do better please.
