Easy to use and manage.

App is slow. And Wex can sometimes be frustrating to convince to reimburse for legitimate medical/dental/vision expenses without seemingly unnecessary hurdles (e.g., requiring a copy of my vision prescription to reimburse for prescription eyeglasses).
Dark mode?
Please make your app have a dark mode slider for both the login screen and within the application. The white is so bright!! Please help protect my eyesight

Can't upload documentation after recent update
Recent update added an AI auto-analyze function. I've had mixed results with single-page receipts, but I can't upload a two-page receipt even if I uncheck auto-analyze. Back to the web site, I guess. I'm definitely not wasting time calling Wex's 800 number--live customer service has been consistently atrocious.

Terrible design
Too many steps. Inability to sort/search. Have to affirm same things with every transaction. Default payment is to check vs direct deposit. I could go on.
Worst app ever
Not sure how this app takes 4.2 at the time of my review? I had to leave this stupid app in order to express my frustration, first every time you go the dashboard it leads and updates the data, why? This makes the app very very slow. Second, you cannot transfer money between cash and investment, this is a killer, why this is not allowed? I understand maybe during weekend but weekday while the marked is running, why this cannot happen, I don’t understand the rational.
Lastly, which is again not related to the app only, when I increased the cash limit, it’s been more than two business days and no money moved.

Denied claims
Claims get denied too often for what is labeled. For instance what falls under the category of a Spa is any spa yet if you put a beauty spa / med spa or just med spa where they do beauty treatments as well just as in any spa they deny the claim. So they need to make it more detailed and allow for more categories. The provided categories are not enough. The employees deny too often for items that are under the umbrella of the categories. It’s extremely frustrating and I have to stress to try to figure out what can fit. It’s not easy and it’s not helpful. Too restrictive.

Asks security questions every time you login (what’s the point of faceID?) takes forever to load anything, constant glitches.
Time consuming
My insurance company is not listed to automatically import my EOB’s. Lots of time for me to individually download them from my chart and then upload them
Horrible, barely functioning app
This app is terrible. Freezes when logging in with Face ID, can’t add receipts to a new claim unless you add to receipt organizer first, never have been able to link my checking or savings account no matter how many times I’ve tried.
App is difficult
There needs to be an option to help upload/reimburse for daycare receipts. You have one for medical EOBs but this is for a dependent care FSA and it’s as difficult as possible to upload those payments. At the very least, add a “save this provider” option so we can always select that same daycare/TaxID for reimbursement.

I have no clue why this card is even offered. Unless you can use it to pay that day you are screwed. The customer service is out sourced and they are so rude!! I’ve had this card for six years and have only been able to use it 3 times. What a joke!
