Potentially useful app becomes useless based on stupid “security practices”
They disable the app because screensharing apps like vnc viewer is installed. They are completely misinformed. Vnc viewer only allows you to look at other desktop computer screens, not your own phone. And if they want to stick to those “security practice”, they should also ban Whatsapp and Facetime both of which can also share screen

Tried making BHIM my primary payment app because honestly, I really wanted to support India's homegrown platform over big tech. But as much as I want to give it priority, the app just falls flat on basic usability. The interface feels messy and disjointed—almost like it’s trying to be a know-it-all app that crams everything in without mastering the core stuff. When I open it, simple UI features like a neatly aligned recent contacts list, pinned favorites, or an organized way to track business payments and credit cards just aren't there. Google Pay nailed this layout years ago. I love the concept of BHIM, but until it cleans up the chaos and gets the fundamental user experience right, it just can't be a daily driver.

Unable to Aa the Bank
I am trying to use the app from Canada. I have my phone pe working. Unfortunately, this is not allowing to add my NRE and NRO account.
BHIM App – Ads Issue & iPhone Widget Scan Problem
I have been using the BHIM app for the past few months. Recently, I noticed advertisements appearing in the transaction history section. This is very disturbing and irritating while using the app. Kindly remove these ads or at least provide an option to disable them for a smooth, distraction-free experience.
Also, I am using an iPhone and facing an issue with the widget. Earlier, when I selected the scan option from the widget, it directly opened the scanner. But now, it only opens the BHIM app, and I have to tap the scan option again manually. This defeats the purpose of having a widget.
Please fix this so that tapping the scan option in the widget directly opens the scanner, as it did before. Both these improvements will be very useful for all users.

Accumulated cash back lost in oblivion
I’ve been using the app for years without any problem. The recent updates have been glitchy. After a month of usage I tried to redeem the accumulated cash back, and immediately the app glitched saying there was an error try again. But then all the accumulated cash back was back to zero, there is nothing in transaction history nor in my bank account. When I reached out to support team, they ask to continue to check my bank account. Wow!

Too many pop up ads
Very annoying app with too many pop up ads. Getting rid of this app.

Please add feature to automatically add cashbacks to UPI lite wallet.
Application crashing
When i am opening an application it will directly crash and close the application. Need to solve bug fix issue in latest update. The older version works perfectly fine.
Cannot sign in. Fails at verification step.

App is not working when you travel outside India or operating outside of India. Mobile no is not registered even having the IVR pack from JIO.

Really the best UPI App -perfect!
Buggy App: No credit for failed transaction
I did a UPI transaction in Sep 2025. It failed. I am still waiting for refund of the money to my back. Not sure who maintains this app. No response after repeated complaints.
One of the Most beneficial app
One beneficial thing is it’s cash back offer, especially when you pay! I have been using BHIM ever since it’s been released and there were some minor hiccups at the start and in between, but these days working fine for me, domestically and internationally. And it’s MPIN is a safe feature though sometimes it logs you out especially when you have not logged out properly! And it doesn’t charge you small fees that some other apps does! Highly recommended!

Please add a category tagging/labelling option. For example if I pay for a shop, add an option under the transaction history to tag the payment to a specific category such as Grocery, Electricity bill, tuition fee gee etc.

I downloaded the BHIM app yesterday as looking to use it as a replacement of Gpay. The overall experience so far is great- the app is clean and smooth.
Couple of feature enhancement requestsh:
1. Missing MGL line entry under Piped Gas bill payment section.
2. An option allowing users to give a nick name to each biller for quick identification would be helpful when you have multiple billers for same product category. Additionally, displaying the bill amount on the main page itself against each biller will be super useful, instead having to click on View Actions -> Pay Bill.
3. A quick refresh button on billers to validate if the bill is actually due and reflect (due / not due etc) on real time would help. Since, it is not always easy remember which one was paid (as users have multiple different apps/upi options for payment).
Please review these and see if this can be implemented in next sprint.

Unable to setup UPI lite
I have setup the UPI on BHIM app and it works. I could not setup the UPI lite for some reason. Everything goes fine until the last step and it says transaction failed to add money to UPI lite.
I tried to add a custom UPI id with my name and 4 digit number and it looks good until the last step that says, unable to add it. Tried a few times and it exceeded the limit.
