Expired food

Dear Team,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the Maggi order I recently received.

When I placed my first order, the packaging was in very poor condition, and the delivery was significantly delayed. Upon opening the product, I noticed a very unpleasant odor coming from the Maggi, which made it seem unsafe for consumption. I immediately raised a complaint and placed a replacement order.

Unfortunately, the replacement order had the same issue. The Maggi again emitted a foul smell, giving the impression that the product was expired or no longer fit for consumption. Due to concerns about food safety and health risks, I did not consume the product.

Despite reporting the issue multiple times, I did not receive a satisfactory resolution, nor was a refund provided. I am disappointed with the handling of this matter, especially considering the potential health risks associated with supplying food products that appear to be spoiled.

I request that this issue be investigated and that an appropriate resolution, including a refund, be provided at the earliest.

The food is good but not the service and idk of they’re out of delivery boys or something but a delivery boy isn’t assigned sometimes when i order

Bistro is Loveable

It has been quite a while that we have been Bistro dependent.
While many food items are not up to the mark, several are quite good. The chocochip cookie is an absolute fav for my child. I like the Belgian choco shake. Plain maggi is a good comfort food, so is the chicken strips. We have tried biriyani - which is good. Wrap is too spicy. But the broccoccinis are yummy if you ignore the facc that they become soggy while being delivered- soggyness - you cant ignore. The best thing is perhaps the delivery time. By far they are faster than Zomato.
The best thing I would always love is the little messages they put on the bill- slip. I even collect them ! Bistro is absolutely a “green flag” for me.

WORST SERVICE EVER

I had a terrible experience with Bistro by Blinkit. I neither received my order nor got my refund. The app kept detecting the wrong location, yet my money was deducted. When I contacted customer support, the executive kept making excuses and clearly stated that my refund would not be initiated.

What’s even more disappointing is that they cancelled my order within 5 minutes, seemingly just to avoid issuing a refund. I repeatedly requested them to refund my hard-earned money, but there was no proper resolution.

I regularly order from Blinkit and have never faced such an issue before, but this was my first order from Bistro and it turned out to be a horrible experience.

They also claim to serve “freshly prepared food,” but if you cancel within 30 seconds, they still refuse to refund the amount, giving excuses about food wastage. Honestly, how is it possible for 2–3 food items to be freshly prepared within seconds? This clearly makes their claim questionable.

My money got wasted because of their pathetic policy and app glitches. Very disappointing experience.

Worse customer support

Worst app to order food. Their customer service is absolutely pathetic, they neither resolve customer queries nor take responsibility for their poor service. The delivery agents are also rude and misbehave with customers, yet no action is taken against them. Instead of resolving issues, they simply refuse to help. Extremely disappointing experience.

Tasty, healthy and quick

Love the menu - especially the cream roll, vada pav & popcorn! My friends love the paratha and pav bhaji! Wish they had a special diet food section - even if they charge double the amount ! Everyone will love it and the company will be doing a great service to the society. We have to be mindful of health hazards pf fast food and needs of old people ( who need help with the food -the most)- especially the diabetic senior generation.

Pathetic deliverance

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Bistro. This has happened multiple times now, and it’s honestly unacceptable for a food service business to operate this way.

Firstly, they never deliver orders on time. No matter what estimated time they show, you can almost guarantee your order will be delayed. Waiting endlessly with no proper updates is frustrating enough, but what makes it worse is the condition in which the food finally arrives.

The food is always cold. It feels like the order has been sitting around for ages before being sent out. When you’re paying for freshly prepared meals, receiving cold and unappetizing food is completely unacceptable.

What truly shocked me was their lack of accountability. Instead of apologizing or taking responsibility, they simply blame it on “delivery issues” or say something was wrong on your end. This kind of attitude towards customers is highly unprofessional.

To make matters worse, they refuse to provide refunds or even a re-delivery. So essentially, you end up paying full price for poor service and bad food, with zero resolution offered.

Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend Bistro to anyone who values timely delivery, food quality, and basic customer service. Definitely not ordering from here again.

Extraordinary

Love this app! Im not even kidding whoever came up with this idea is a genius. I always find myself in a situation where i wanna have a light brunch but all the restaurants that serve breakfast meals are like 40 mins away. So i always end up ordering fast food. But this is a game changer.

And i would like to request one thing. These delivery guys all get the food right on time. And are always kind. I request bistro to pay them sufficiently. It is really sad to see them working so hard for minimum wage. I hope you read my review and make some changes. Thank you.

⭐ 1-Star Review Absolute Failure of Operations & Accountability

I’ve rarely felt the need to write such a detailed review, but what I experienced with Bistro today reflects a deeply broken system, not a one-off mistake.

I clearly updated my delivery address to Noida Indoor Stadium, Gate No. 4, The app itself shows this address correctly. Despite that:
• The delivery partner went to an entirely different location
• I was blamed for an address error that I did not make
• Support repeatedly contradicted itself
• I was told the order was both undeliverable and delivered at the same time
• No proof of delivery was shared
• I was pressured into cancellation after wasting significant time

The most shocking part?
Support casually said “as I can check order is delivered” — delivered to whom? where? how? No answer.

This is not just poor customer service. This is:
• Zero coordination between app, support, and delivery
• No ownership of mistakes
• No escalation path
• Script-reading executives with no authority
• A system that conveniently shifts blame to the customer

I have screenshots of the address, chat logs, and call details, yet the response was robotic apologies and refund prompts—as if time, trust, and accountability mean nothing.

Refunding money is the bare minimum. What Bistro failed at is respect for the customer’s time and intelligence.

If Bistro wants to be taken seriously as a food-tech company, it needs:
• Real support escalation
• Location-trained delivery partners
• Accountability when their system fails
• Better internal communication

Until then, this platform is unreliable, frustrating, and not worth the risk—especially if you’re ordering from a non-residential or landmark location.

I will not be using Bistro again.

Pathetic service | Late deliveries

My food was packed for like 20-25 minutes ago the delivery partner was assigned that too after reaching out to support team. Even after that they were still with no solution. Once my order was delivered, they were like it doesn’t apply with the refund or replacement order at the moment. When asked to connect with her senior, she was like they will also have same answer to your problem. I mean what’s the point of having higher authority above your position if they are going to give the same solution as yours.

Bad service, Bad support service & Bad experience i had with bistro. You guys try to compete with Zepto but are not even at 50% of what they are at this moment.

I suggest not to take services from Bistro. #BoycottBistro

Good food delivered quickly at affordable prices!!

I have ordered multiple times from this place and the food is mostly very good and arrives quickly. The prices are also very affordable. Some items may not be as good as the others but still most of the food (and drink) items are amazing! Definitely recommended for bachelors or when you just want to have a quick snack.

PS: mini aloo samosas and veg spring rolls are a must try!

Great service.

Very hygiene, weight of food survey and fastest delivery of food. Quality and quantity of food is very much workable for your order. I highly recommend Bistro food delivery app to use, thank you.

Wrost delivery’

This is absolutely unacceptable. Every single time I order through Bistro, the delivery is late — not once or twice, but every time. I’m seriously frustrated now.

What’s the point of giving an estimated delivery time if you never meet it? I’ve been patient enough, but this constant delay shows complete carelessness and zero responsibility from your side.

If this happens again, I’ll be filing an official complaint. I expect immediate action and proper delivery management — this kind of service is just not done.

Disappointed with Bistro’s Service Quality

I have been a long-time and loyal customer, but I’m extremely disappointed with the declining quality of support. I recently placed an order and forgot to apply a coupon. Within just two minutes of placing the order, I contacted support to either cancel it or have the coupon applied from their side. To my surprise, I was told that neither could be done — and that I’d be charged the full cancellation amount. This is completely unfair and shows no concern for genuine customers.

This is not the first time I’ve faced issues. On a previous occasion, my order was marked as delivered even though I hadn’t received it. I had to call support multiple times and wait unnecessarily just to get what I had already paid for.

After such repeated disappointments, I’ve decided to permanently delete the app. I’ve been using Swiggy for a long time and have never faced such rigid and insensitive responses. I’ll also be sharing my experience with friends and family so they can be aware of how poorly customer issues are now handled by bistro.

Pathetic service stale rotten food

They gonna take your money nd provide you worls best rotten stale smelly bad food then when you give them proofs they gonna answer you wd ‘we can provide you another plate’ but can’t change your order or can’t refund you maam you have to eat our stale food nd suffer wd food poison(such a pathetic service don’t order anything from them they don’t take any responsibility for they bad service pathetic service nd customer care team is soooo worst her name is konika she just left the chat without solving my query nd answer me wd i can’t do anything we can only give a another plate aree yr nhi chahiye apka sada huwa khana refund krdo ya order badal do lekin inke pass koi option nhi hai inke customer care ke according so please apne money iske waste mat kro go with swiggy zomato they take there responsibility)
