Help

I canโ€™t access my account as it got my old number on

Disappointed

I do use the credit card function and pay the ยฃ14.00 subscription and had no issues which is fine. What I do have issue is with being further charged ยฃ9.99 for a money building app that said would increase my credit limit for my credit card. It hasnโ€™t increased it nor is there way to cancel the subscription. Iโ€™m sure under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers (DMCC) Act 2024 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 there should be an option to โ€œclick to cancel โ€œ so the fact there isnโ€™t is really sketchy and makes me now feel quite insecure about using Bits as a company if they are skirting consumer and financial laws.
I have been paying since Feb for something that has done nothing that it said it would and I want that money back. Iโ€™m really disappointed in Bits.

FAQ

What does the Bits app do?

The app functions as an online retailer where you can shop for a selection of clothes, homeware, and other consumer goods. It also offers a retail charge account to help you build credit and improve your credit score.

How does this app help build credit?

By using the Bits retail charge account responsibly and making timely payments, your credit line usage is reported to Experian, one of the largest consumer reporting agencies. This positive reporting can help build your credit history and improve your credit score.

Is there a cost to use Bits?

The app itself is free to download and use. However, using the retail charge account involves making purchases on credit, which will need to be repaid. There may be interest or fees associated with the charge account, depending on its terms.

What kind of products can I buy?

The Bits store offers a carefully-curated selection of products. This includes items such as clothes, homeware, and other consumer goods, all available for purchase through the app.

What happens if I don't repay on time?

Not repaying on time will result in an adverse report to the credit agencies. This can negatively impact your credit score, so it is important to manage your payments responsibly.
