Forcing to cancel account
The app forces me to upgrade the account but I couldn’t upgrade because I didn’t turn on face Id/ fingerprint. The upgrade banner just blocks me from enabling that. So effectively it is forcing me to close my account. Well done

I want to use boc pay discount, and after I installed it I am forced to forget password just because I haven’t use the app for more than a year. Then the whole process almost doesn’t work, and funniest thing is that I have to wait another 6 hours to use it. terrible experience, what if I need this app immediately then it won’t work.

All money is gone in the app
Downloaded and used many years ago all along had no issue until recently. Had about $165 in the app, force logged out, and can never log back in due to “incorrect password” even it was all along correct. Was told over the phone to try again in 24 hrs but same issue. Was asked to go to branch but they say the app no longer works without binding to a BOC bank account or credit card. I don’t have a BOC bank account or credit card and don’t intend to apply for one. Now the $165 I transferred to the app is lost forever. Beware.

Worth experience
BOC Pay better than BOC Pay+， I don’t like the change. I pay by RMB, but Pay+ charge me in HKD, using unfavourable exchange rate.
Payment Record
After the recent update, screenshot is no longer allowed. Understand it might due to “security concerns” but I think it’s far beyond the industry norm (eg internet banking). This creates troubles for customers wanting to keep spending record and in case need to show to vendors. Please seriously consider removing such restriction.

Keep popping different terms and conditions to accept, keep asking password every time, keep user waiting in front of cashier, what a failed product, learn from Alipay please
Why force customer to set daily limit over zero?
I don’t think it is reasonable to mandate customers to set the transfer daily limit over zero. Why I cannot keep zero limit?

I would suggest that the “people” under Transfer - Recent Transfers can be deleted and edited, since for some people you only transfer for once, but their names with shown on the top.

套路满满，毫无诚意，支付体验感不好
最近一年的开户奖赏很没有诚意。五张满20减10的优惠券，而且指定商铺，有效期一个月。并且一次只能使用一张。以前都是直接送现金奖赏或者是没有门槛（比如20元优惠券，满21就可以用）的指定商铺优惠券。我平时惠康+万宁，根本用唔到优惠。上次去百佳使用优惠券，结果支付失败。银联二维码在香港支持的地方太少了。有些地方就算网上话支持，但不一定你去了就能用。在麦当劳也遇过无法支付的情况。（已经切换为港澳付款码）整体体验太差了。这个就适合在大陆用，在香港还是算了。老老实实8仔。
