Terrible
Terrible!

Great program, great concept, but the app…
I love the program, I’ve been following it since even before the app came out. I want to keep loving it. Bret has clearly put so much thought and effort in, from the workout programming to the instructional videos and workout breakdowns every month. I so appreciate his knowledge. The way the app is SUPPOSED to work, with the trackers and timers would be impeccable. However. Someone is really dropping the ball. The app is so insanely and consistently glitchy. In fact, it’s worse now than it was on the very first week it came out. Freezes, can’t save workouts, kicks me out randomly, looks like it’s saved a workout but then it doesn’t carry over. The list goes on. I’ve had to start opening it on the drive to the gym because I know it’ll take forever to come up. I’m strongly considering getting a tracker app and then either going off program or maybe following on the web based version, which I think still exists. The potential is so close you could touch it, it’s a shame it falls short of what I’m sure Brett was aiming for!

Not “at home” friendly
I love Brett’s stuff & was REALLY wanting to love this app BUT can only workout at home right now & the “at home” version has things like - the leg press machine on there🙈 Most average home gyms do not have that equipment. After my 1st two days, EVERY day there were 1-3 of the exercises that I had to modify… as it used some piece of gum equipment that was beyond what I would consider an average home gym - really sad because I was planning to be a long term subscriber & had to quit after 1 month :( I hope they change this in the future. To me a home gym is dumbbells and maybe some resistance bands (plus cardio equipment)

Always something wrong.
The workouts itself are fine, tracking is nice, but literally EVERY week there’s a glitch: can’t access app, doesn’t track, screen freezes, doesn’t save workouts. I’m about to not renew my membership because of this. If it was a once or twice thing, fine, but it’s happening waaay too often that it’s frustrating to drive to gym and can’t access or track workouts, such a waste of time & money.

Great Programming, Frustrating App Experience
I know this app is still fairly new, but the constant glitches are becoming a major frustration. I've experienced issues with the app not logging in, logging me out unexpectedly, and not displaying my progress correctly.
The biggest problem is when I'm at the gym with limited time and can't access my workout because the app won't let me log in. I've even ended up using the wrong workout from the website because I couldn't access the app. It disrupts my training and makes it difficult to follow the program as intended.
At this point, I honestly find myself wishing I could go back to the old Excel version. It may not have been as modern or convenient, but it was reliable, easy to access, and never prevented me from completing my workouts.
I really enjoy the programming, but the technical issues are starting to get in the way of the overall experience.
