Terrible app

This is ruining my Christmas as I have been unable to make online payments for the past 4 days due to errors with the app.

I feel this is a deliberate act to prevent customers from spending their own money!

Stopped working after update to iOS 18

After update to iOS 18 this application stopped responding to verification requests from paying providers. Can’t use cards.

Usless

Completely useless..not fit for purpose. Does not scan card and even after entering numbers manually…no confirmation SMS received…yet BOV receive mine no problem.
As a result cannot purchase online. Useless.

Download and install the BOV 3D Secure app on your smart device. During the enrollment process, you will set an authentication passcode or choose to set up biometric authentication if your device supports it. Once one card is enrolled, all your eligible Bank of Valletta cards will be automatically enrolled.

What happens if I don't have internet reception when making a purchase with BOV 3D Secure?

If you are in an area with no reception, the payment screen will prompt you to scan a QR Code. This will launch the BOV 3D Secure app, and after authentication, a 6-digit code will be displayed. You will then insert this code into the designated field on the payment screen to complete your purchase.
