Every time I go to get on this app, there’s an update that prevents me from accessing it. Every couple weeks when I get on the app it won’t let me until i’ve installed the newest version. I’m not always near wifi or in a building with good reception. And i’m busy. When I go to this app I’d like to get in, take care of what I need to, and get out. Not have to wait for updates to complete. It gets old. I get it, they want to improve functionality and fix things but it’s literally every single time..

Terrible app
Terrible app, never able to sign in and see balances. ALWAYS have to use easy pay. “Unable to send code” . Frustrating the app is unusable and always reroutes you to a website. Pointless of even downloading the app.

Great idea, but….
….the URL for each credit is the exact same, so my Passwords app wouldn’t allow me to save a different password for each credit card (3), so I had to finagle the URL on each one. You need to change the URL so it has the merchant name in it to make them unique and make it easier for saving the password for each separate login. And NO, I will not use the same password for each login. That’s just asking for trouble.

Try to set up online payment
Not sure why the system will not allow me to set up online payments for future payments when I am at my payment date. Seems to be a way to collect late payments. We have sent in payment by mail but the first time we missed the 5:00 PM est. Today made a payment online but would not allow to pay any more today since was after 5:00 pm est. The website says I can’t create an online automatic payment until 7/18/26. That’s 5 days away from today. Seems rather ridiculous to not be able to do this at my availability not the companies.

The app is not working. Multiple updates weekly
The app from Bread Financial Holdings is a scam. Each week there is a new update, need to redo the password each time. credit card system not working and they the charge $40 late fees. Done that 3 times late fees in 4 months. It’s a scam
Time zones caused issues
Didn’t know about the Eastern Timezone cut off - paid as soon as I finished work but apparently the fact I live and work in AZ goes against me… not impressed.

App opens to a blank white screen and never loads anything. Deleted and reinstalled and get the same thing.

The app used to work so well for me until recently. Every time I try to sign in to one account for a store, it opens another account. I tried removing all stores except the one I’m trying to sign in to, but it still manages to open another account.

this could be a 5 star app but it's not. most of it works but the big one for me is the ability to lock & unlock cards. it hasn't worked in over a year. i've reinstalled the app, always have the latest version and still it won't work. you lose two stars because that's the main thing i NEED this app to do.

With the mandatory update you have to have a newer phone 16 or newer Not everyone has or can afford a new phone Now instead of being able to conveniently check my credit card accounts or make payments I have to figure out another way Not a happy customer with BREAD right now
Difficult App & Website
Every time I’ve tried to use either the app or the Website, I have had considerable trouble. Neither will allow me to sign in until I call Bread Financial & get a link to get into my account. This takes numerous attempts and about an hour just to get in to make a payment. At one time when I called, the rep spoke only Spanish & did not acknowledge me when I requested a rep that would speak to me in English. My Spanish is very rusty, & I could only catch a few random words. In short, this has been a very frustrating company to work with.
