Useless app

This app does not function. Not taking my reference number. Cant even start the process and there is no way you can contact the customer service people. They have a chat bit which talks to you and it leads nowhere. Frustrating process.

Can’t proceed after typing reference id

I generated the reference id from the website and then I downloaded the app. Once I type the reference id in the app it says no details found. This keeps happening again and again. I tried contacting with the ergo team through toll free number and even mail id but they don’t even seem to get the problem and repeated the same stuff again and again.

Can’t take photos at all

It just gives me error saying please capture image in landscape mode. And on the web cam upload it does detect the mobile rotation at all.

Capture photo error

This app is not supporting to
iPhone, app shows use landscape mode to capture the photos while I’m already using landscape mode as it instructed. Fix the bug.

Showing error cannot proceed to self inspection

Had downloaded the app and added my reference ID to move forward with self inspection process however everytime I am getting the same issue. And the worst part is there is no resolution from hdfc ergo team as well.

Worst experience I ever had

It’s been last 3weeks am struggling with HDFC ERGO my existing policy renewal, Agents used to follow me up daily 10times until payment of amount after paying no one answering my calls, I haven’t received my policy from last 3weeks, I approached customer care for 4days continuously but no help, I tried to send an email grievance team no support rather than support they re initiated entire process once again. I asked why it happened no answer for it they are sending same email again and again. Whoever taking new policy on HDFC ERGO think twice coz it will make our life’s hell.

App technical issue

Useless app. I am trying to self inspect my car for Insurance renewal of my car. Unable to take pics of the car even though camera was in Landscape mode. Finally contacted the inspection guy. Even after approval of the inspection, unable to make final payment as getting error.

Pathetic app

Absolutely unbelievably third class app from the prestigious hdfc group. There are no instructions in the app to take pics in sun light. You can not upload pictures from phone storage. No guidance on where to find chassis and engine numbers. Poor navigation to replace clicked pictures or move to next option.

Later I was asked to re upload pictures and send via email.

Gave error after uploading photos

After taking all the pictures and uploading them, the app gives an error “claim already in progress “ I don’t have any claim in progress. The app dashboard also does not give any status. Very poorly designed app!

You should flash option for the camera. So that chasis number can see very clearly
