Security Alerts / New Dark web alert
This app CreditWise has reduced my trust in it, because is sending me alerts that my email password has been compromised and it is in the dark web. I have changed my password numerous of times, but every week a new message is coming with NO proof what is the location in the dark web detected and what password they have. If is already in the dark web there nothing to worry that they will expose the information to my personal message. So I am taking this as a useless application that do not help but panic people.
Most importantly there is no way you can send them message and ask them additional information about how they detected that the password is exposed? Are they testing that the password is really exposed? Or someone added some other password and because is says password then they just declare is exposed.

Credit rating
I paid off more than 25,000 in debt more than a month ago, and you all are far too slow to reflect that change. This whole credit thing is a joke.
Emails are out of control
Email notifications are out of control. Yes, I know I made a payment on an account, I make lots of them as a matter of course, I don’t need to be worried that something is up and have to log in to see a secure message about it. I got the app to monitor if something was of concern, let me dial in my notification preferences to only be for new inquiries or new accounts.

Why do you people mess up people Score my TransUnion credit score is not the same Score you’ll have posted is it 2 TransUnion Companies that I don’t know about……You’ll have my Score all messed up and you’ll have my credit score Way Off and that’s not Good…….

Favorite
I have quite a few credit monitoring sites. Capital One’s CreditWise is my favorite. Easy to navigate. I like the simulation part so you can estimate what different actions will do to your score like pay down debt, apply for a new credit card, get a new mortgage. It also explains well why your credit is what it is and how the top performers compare. Very good credit monitoring site moving betting just reporting your credit to educating you on ways to improve your individual score. Not just in general.

They are scared me by sending mail the my social security is exposed to dark web and to sign up asking again social security number very scary i don’t know who to report

I have the Capital One app then they want to have you download another?
False Alarm
Received an email from CapitalOne that my SSN was found on the dark web and I should load Credit wise to see where and how it was being used - so I did - BUT NOTHING - no notifications, no information about bad actors - zip- nada - nothing - this kind of threatening email has to STOP.

I need assistance with Financial Abuse. My former husband is withholding funds & it is negatively impacting my credit score because I need the credit cards in order to buy items & until he pays me the money owed I cannot pay them back. I though this settlement would be finished by now, & he is dragging it along now for 8 months. I have legal fees to deal with this, I have a car payment because I need a car & my daughters’ birthdays are in the summer. I needed new clothes for a new job & I am struggling because of him. I need help. I have always had excellent credit. My family is also abusive, did not want me to leave him & will not help me out.

Long after my credit rating on other apps went to exceptional this app languished in the low end of good. I’m so much better than they will ever know, haha

Not user friendly
Tried repeatedly to open account because site stated I already had an account. Went through several different steps to change password and wanted to update email. None of which worked.
Not impressed
App won’t load and sends emails about my credit score going up 15 but only went up 2. Then when I do try to open the app, it won’t load and kicks me off the app. Terrible app
Are Credit Scores held artificially low?
My score on CW is in the mid 600’s and no matter what I do, it will not go above a certain point. My score on Experian is in the mid 700’s. Why the difference, is it because Capital One is trying to push more CC? It makes no sense.
