The app is okay but has rough edges: (1) FaceID takes an extra click to activate, (2) mortgage totals update in some places but not others,(3) statement location buried. It feels like the development team doesn’t use the app.

What a pointless app! Agent on the phone says to send a message for requests and the app will time out and log you out so your message is lost and doesn’t get sent. I tried 3 times.

Worst Mortgage Company Ever
The people who answer the phones for Cenlar have consistently provided incorrect information on taxes and interest rates. Each time I’ve called (for the same issue) the sound quality on their end is trash, you can barely understand what they’re saying. They like to send bogus offers to lower your rate, with no intention of honoring the offers. Each time I call, they ask the same questions repeatedly and don’t listen to the what the customer is actually saying. They bounce you around from one department to another. This company is being reported to BBB.org for their business practices.

Absolutely Awful Onboarding
I just had my home loan transferred, not by my choice. Getting set up was excruciating. The Cenlar app doesn’t allow paste or autofill from a password app. It required authentication of the same information multiple times after entering info on previously filled out fields. I’m finally in the app. Here’s hoping that the rest of the app works.

Very clunky and usually have to try and submit payments a few times before it takes. Alerts do not clear and show all the time.
