Cost Cutting has ruined my experience
I have visited their various stores across the country and my experience keeps getting worse day by day due to their cost cutting policies, No good music, uncleaned table and flies around and Store smell is not good. I have visited more than 350 times according to app but I am literally disappointed with service and lack of menu options and overpriced products that aren’t healthy. I have noticed that their customer service is really poor. I’ll stop going to their store.

Great food great taste but always stock out
It’s specifically for Vijay bank layout outlet which has got pathetic inventory planning. Chayos as a brand is fantastic and well placed. But this specific store has got some serious issues whenever you visit over the week or weekend it’s mostly stock out. This review is after a year of experience where I could never order my full menu I wanted. They should either close down or have enough food to serve customers it’s waste of time.

Chai is good not the app
Omg this app gave me a heart attack it opened and my phone got stuck I couldn’t do anything with my phone was so worried that something got hacked - couldn’t even switch off my phone had for wait till my phones battery drained off to fix this. Please update the app. I am deleting it for now…
Stingy approach by Chaayos
The 199/- samosa chat (on Zomato) apparently now comes with just one samosa in it 🙂🙂 I get the whole inflation situation and what not and I might sound like someone who’s probably being naive about a petty thing but it matters to me and I couldn’t care less about how my opinion makes me look like.
I’ve been an old customer of Chaayos, have not ordered a ton lot but it has definitely been one of my favorite spots for good quality chai/snacks made with fresh ingredients, good hygiene and the quantity used to justify the price.
I’m not sure if my today’s order was just a one time thing or if they’re now seriously taking some very bizarre and stingy cost cutting approach.
It’s not about whether I can afford it or not, it’s more about the quantity justifying the price here.
Enough said, most probably will be thinking twice at least before ordering from this franchise.

Absolute cr-app
Multiple reload fails, money gets deducted and there are no refunds. The customer service is non existent. The store it sells people are helpless, even though they were pushing us to sign up and use the app. After multiple failed attempts when I added money to wallet and did pay, the order was not placed due to an error! Absolute crappy experience and I’ve lost 600+ rupees just to buy 1 chai!

A big minus for Chaayos App and it’s support
Needless to say Chaayos is one of the best thing that has happened to india. I have been a huge fan for years. However I stuck to in store direct orders for 7-8 years since I have Chaayos in my vicinity where I have lived. My experience with Chaayos wallet app wasn’t always great and I was always sceptical. But this time, I am forced to write a poor review. I recently started using Chaayos app for dine in orders as the order times in the store was high and there are promotions running. It made perfect sense. I loaded my wallet and placed order. I noticed that Order fulfilment does not reflect on the app. I dint care because I got the tea. Next time tho, I placed the order even before I reached the store as I was in hurry and I just had to pick it. Lo and behold the store was closed for construction. And Order was placed. No option to cancel. And no cancellations from Chaayos end. I sent an email to Chaayos support and I get two responses. On call, I am told I go to any Chaayos store and I call this number (personal number) and they will speak to the store guy to give me chai. That sounds odd. The other response i received was that we can ‘refund’ the money to wallet because chai was prepared. ??!! I am speechless. I will continue to follow what comes out of it and honestly would not follow up a lot since it’s just 109. Write a poor review is the best / worst I can do.

App main page login for mobile just keep loading again and again. I have not been able to login once since an year due to the app problem

This app cheats away the money.
It’s a good cafe but they cheat. They told me that I can take order through their app so I ordered. The money was debited but the order was failure. So the staff told me to pay again in cash and said online payment will be reimbursed. It was never reimbursed. So I have a meal of 450 Rs. at 900 Rs. Next week I complained them again they said it will be done. It was never done. I have complained online also. They never reply. Worst staff and customer care and their app is basically meant to cheat people.

Faulty app
Big flaw in terms of payments using wallets. My past 2 orders have been charged twice because after initial payment this app doesn’t show it and opens another page for another payment, leading to duplicate payments. Worst part - No support option!!

This app takes way too much data on you and once you give your phone number, they will send you too many text messages every day. This is a garbage app that’s more complicated than it need to be.

Perfect app that helps you to order with ease, minor features here is really interesting. Obviously super helpful in this covid situation where you dont want to interact physically with anyone to get your food.
Brilliant work done on UI and flow , user friendly and super easy for anyone to understand it in one go. Shows my history, trending dishes are visible which helps first user to choose from the list !
