Works great!

Just bought my first EV, a BMW i3. The app made it easy to plan my route, find chargers that fit for fast charging, and had no issues at all. The reviews were very helpful and I found everything to be up-to-date.

Finicky no Percentage

Another app that doesn’t show me my percentage or estimated time. Half the time the charge I start won’t even show in the app as well.

We need a solid regulated standard for this stuff. There no receipts as well.

Password not saved & could not be reset

Password could not be saved because last keystroke continued to next display. Could not reset password because email never received.

Finding stations great, paying+disconnecting is hit and miss

This app is fantastic for finding stations. But sometimes it loses track of your session if you use it to pay for your charge, and then you’re stuck connected until you call the network and wait on hold for them to override it. I was just told that locking and unlocking your car 3 times can serve as an override to disengage, so I will try that next time.

Not very useful

This app is confusing and it hasn’t helped me find a working charging station when I’ve tried to drive beyond my city.

Hard to cancel

Canceled subscription through the App Store continued to be charged, and and going in circles with their support team, buyer beware.

Annual membership?

Keeps trying to get me to sign up for a 24.99 annual fee. It’s really not user friendly. The bot is terrible and their customer service is only 9-5 m-f

App would not allow the charger to stop

This app started a charging session but when I hit stop on the charger, it would not communicate with the charging unit to acknowledge the stop. Even with knowledgeable help, we could not get it to stop until the maximum limit for the car was reached. It was a level 3 charger so just unplugging it was not an option.

Best EV charger

Very fast and easy to use. The screens are off but the Charge Hub app will get you set up! 35% to 80% in 20 minutes. Can’t beat it. Most expensive from noon until 8pm

Poor user experience

App loads with a page looks like official charge point + subscription required for $24 then has you adds funds to account. When you show up at charge point stations does not work.

No credits for adding new charging locations

I added a couple new charging locations with photos. There is no record in the app that I submitted these locations. I message chat and they said it will take 2-3 weeks. It is now 5 weeks.

Why have a program that does not get updated??

Update: after 5 weeks I received the credits after uploading photos. App works good.

Didn’t work

Tried twice didn’t work. They refunded my credit but I didn’t realize there was a 4 dollar monthly subscription added. Charge Point much better app.

ChargeHub is designed as a universal charging app that lets drivers activate stations across multiple charging networks from a single account. Unlike ChargePoint, we are not a charging network and do not own or operate the chargers themselves. If a charging session does not start properly, our support team is available to help troubleshoot the issue and assist you in real time. Regarding the $4 monthly subscription, it is entirely optional. It is billed and managed directly through Apple subscriptions, which means it can be cancelled easily at any time from your Apple account settings.
