About

Check-In: Macros keeps calorie and macro tracking deliberately simple. Set your own daily calories, protein, carbs, and fat targets—or start with an editable maintenance, cut, or bulk estimate. Add meals manually, scan a nutrition label, look up a packaged food by barcode, or choose a saved meal. See where today stands, review your week, and look back over time. When you have a nutrition label to hand, optionally photograph it and let the on-device scanner read calories, protein, carbohydrates, and fat. Common international wording, units, serving bases, and per-100 g or per-100 ml labels are supported locally. Choose the printed serving or enter how much you ate; totals scale to your portion. Edit a logged meal's amount later and its calories and macros recalculate automatically. There is no account, developer-operated server, or advertising tracker. Your entries stay on your device, with optional local reminders, widgets, and write-only Apple Health saving. Optional barcode lookup sends the scanned code to Open Food Facts to find a product. Review the product and nutrition values before saving; approved results are cached locally for offline reuse. Apple Health access is optional; the app never reads your existing Health data or sends it anywhere. The guided numbers are starting estimates, not medical advice or a promise of a particular result. Adjust them as your real trend and circumstances change. If you are pregnant, under 18, managing a condition, or recovering from an eating disorder, speak with a qualified professional first.

Meal entry is simpler: scan a barcode, scan a nutrition label, enter details manually, or choose from saved meals. The app icon has a refreshed blue progress mark.
