Unapproved transaction not credited even though it’s investigated
I did try to dispute it through legal channels to prove I didn’t sent the money while I was asleep but they didn’t care or even accept my claim as fraudulent transaction.

Apparently if you wrote a bad review they remove it.
This is directed at the developer who responded to my removed review which pointed out that they haven’t given the higher APY as advertised, since FEBRUARY! You responded to my last review saying there has to be a Direct Deposit in order to receive the higher APY. DUH DUH & DUH!!! My husband has a lot higher DIRECT DEPOSIT than I do and Chime LOWERED his APY this week after calling in and asking why his APY was not adjusted to the higher tier. I’m not stupid!! Today is the last day for that to happen after he gave them 4 days to fix if after complaining since FEBRUARY!! Since it takes you a day or two to respond it looks like you’re losing a customer that would be valuable to your institution. And where he goes I go. So you can keep your Chinese hard to understand and can’t understand basic phone call issues and we’ll be moving to a better bank.

This bank has truly been nothing but amazing. I swear this has to be one of the number one online banking. I believe the next step for chime is actually having an institute the way how they’re going they save me countless of times even when you think you’re out of money, Chime will back you up to support you to make you feel like you never ran out hands down they number one.

Were my new card at I requested bout 5 days ago. I got my bred direct deposit on there no referral money! Nothing but a scam… worst move ever. I order a card because it expired. And yall don’t think to send me another card ridiculous
Stay away from Chime
I used Chime as a simple, secondary "fun money" account completely separate from my main family bank account. Everything was fine until my card was hit with an unauthorized, fraudulent charge of nearly $1,950 at Best Buy.
Instead of actually investigating the fraud like a real bank is legally required to do, Chime’s automated system threatened to close my account and denied my dispute the very next day. They completely refuse to help their customers when real fraud happens.
I have already filed a formal complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) to force them to investigate this properly. If you want a valid, reliable bank that actually protects your money and treats you like a customer, go to SoFi or Capital One. Avoid Chime at all costs.

This app sucks ballz I’m literally getting money taken from me bc of spot me and I don’t even get spot me unless I have money deposited ts so freaking stupid
Inability to take care of the customer
Recently I had my information apparently leaked and made a dispute 3 TIMES to try to get back the $368.97 that was taken and used back into my account. I was denied 3 times. Because of the nature of the charges, I wasn’t able to give any documentation to chime only that the charges occurred while I was at work. Do not sue this app. They do not care if something like this happens and only regurgitate what they are told back to you when you try to get information on the dispute. The app is also not secure. The information I did give them was also NOT TAKEN DOWN IN THE DISPUTE INFO BECAUSE THEY FORGOT TO DO IT. Found that out when the 3rd person I spoke to self snitched.

From best to worst
Started out as a wonderful online bank. App was user friendly and asy to work with. I’ve been with Chime for 4 years. Over the past year they’ve made changes to their app which have made it more difficult to maneuver to what you want. They’ve completely removed the search icon to look within the app for what you need when you can’t find it. And the most recent flubb is that I, who makes the bare minimum to receive the highest apy in savings from direct deposits has been receiving it since February! My husband who has a lot higher direct deposit amount in the same amount of time has NOT received that apy amount!! He has been fighting with customer service and managers to get it fixed and they just say it has to b reviewed or someone has to “flip the switch”. Well they were pretty quick to LOWER THE APY this week!!!!! They never did raise it. We already found a bank with a higher APY and will be switching this week. Oh and enjoy talking to someone oversees who you can’t understand at all after you ask for a live agent about 4-5 times on their call in line.

Love chime and what they have helped me with. I went from low credit score to a higher credit score now, I am capable in helping provide for my family and catch up on bills, and most of all just giving me the chance without being turned down.
Rip Off
This company cover up all of their BS by having boost ups with friends. Don’t be fooled by their tricks. They will take your money and hold it hostage until they feel you should have it back. I was with them for 3 years before I actually started doing business with them… they are not good for handling business. Get a real bank account, google the financial institution they are with & do your research.
