keep deleting the budget after you make it and the AI has absolutely no ability to understand or label anything correctly, thinking that recurring different payments to various businesses that start with the name of the city I live in are a sub subscription and refusing to believe me when I say they’re not, having absolutely no option to customise savings, I’m just generally being really really bad don’t download this. It’s a total waste of your time, and I can’t think of anything better than a spreadsheet. You’re better off with the spreadsheet. This is a waste of time. A service like this is never going to work. I’ve been put off by it for life and never strongly encouraged anyone else to use it.

Cash advance feature feels fundamentally flawed
I subscribed mainly because of the cash advance feature, but the eligibility system was incredibly frustrating. My wages are paid into my main bank account, which I connected to Cleo, but I was told there wasn’t enough income and was asked to connect more accounts.
I then connected around six different bank accounts and Cleo STILL kept telling me it needed to see more income. How is that supposed to work for someone who only has one bank account, or quite reasonably only receives their income into one account?
The whole system seems flawed if connecting the account where your wages are actually paid isn’t enough. Looking through recent reviews, I can see I’m far from the only person having problems with eligibility and bank connections.
I cancelled my subscription within 14 days because I couldn’t justify paying for a service when the main feature I wanted was effectively unusable. If you subscribe primarily for the cash advance and immediately run into the same endless “connect more accounts / show more income” problem, I’d recommend checking the cancellation terms rather than continuing to pay and hoping it eventually works.
A paid financial app shouldn’t require customers to keep connecting account after account just to prove income that is already clearly visible in their main bank account.

The part that’s absolutely ridiculous about this app is you can pay back the cash advance on time, before, it doesn’t matter. They will still give you a lower cash advance with no reason. There are way better apps like Dave or earnin which after u pay the cash advance your qualified for more. This app will make you pay for subscription for a measly cash advance. Again do not waste your time with this app. This app needsa serious revamp.

Cleo used an account I had connected to charge my monthly subscription without my permission which is against the law. I’ll be reporting them to the bbb. Don’t use Cleo. Misleading and charges whatever they want whenever they want without your permission

I wanted to cancel my subscription today and I seen that $11.99 was coming through my bank account today and I wanted a refund because I was not gonna use the card anymore. And they were not going to give me the refund because I didn’t cancel before it was renewed. Other businesses would actually give me a refund but not Cleo. I would not use them as their customer service is a joke. I will not use this company ever again. This company doesn’t even deserve a one star.

I was ineligible for early income (despite connecting both bank accounts showing deposits paid into from my job) after purchasing the subscription so requested an immediate refund to be told it would be processed within 10 working days.
These companies are very quick to take your money but take far too long to process a refund.
The AI budget isn’t great either.
