I’m not going to lie at times I do need extra but I don’t like the way Cleo does theirs. Even when giving an increase it’s something. After I payback I may not use it anymore it’s really too much of a hassle how they do their advance. Change how the advance is given. Give it all at once because the company is charging each time which make the fees higher

Do no link your bank accounts if you have Venmo and a regular checking and savings account. Cleo will go into your account and take money while lying to your face. They got me evicted because I was unable to pay my bill due to the fact that Cleo just went into my account and snatched those funds. The support team is disrespectful and I wouldn’t recommend this all to anyone.

This app genuinely sucks
I paid for the Cleo Plus, and then it told me I was no longer eligible for Cleo Plus and that I would have to wait a few days to see if I’m eligible again for the cash advance. The stupid AI gave the same three responses.
They Lie
The app said I was approved for $40, so I paid the subscription fee. Then suddenly I wasn’t eligible anymore. According to their own terms and conditions, I should have been refunded my subscription fee when I requested it. However, I was denied. So I cancelled the subscription and disputed the charge with my bank instead.

Scam
Charged me monthly subscription and then i couldn’t do anything because it kept saying my social security number was wrong . I tried to update that and it kept switching it to another number . When I talked to customer service they finally told me I didn’t pass a security screening . The app had no problem getting into my bank account or taking my money.

I’m constantly getting statements that are not accurate or reflective of my current balance or even due date. This is a great app to have to help build your credit and meet some ends when needed. However, I would keep on them to make sure they aren’t reporting inaccurate information to the bureaus because it could hurt your credit.

I don’t like how Cleo said if I refer a friend I get 80 dollars and recently I referred a friend and they sent me a notification saying I was approved for 80 dollars and when I went to get my advance Cleo only gave me a 40$ boost on Monday 8/10/2026 that’s false advertisement
