Lost data
We used their app for a show in San Diego and the lead data was lost for all companies because of some glitch in the system. When they finally did provide the data several days later we were missing leads. Literally the worst possible outcome for lead scanning software. Very frustrating experience. Do not use this app.

CRM export?!?
If a downloadable exportable file is available to upload to my CRM, then they do a really good job of hiding it!
Not Reliable
Attended a once per year, three day show. Did not work on day one. Worked on day two. Lo and behold, did not work on day three. Kept getting “invalid barcode” message. Went to event desk, asked to speak to onsite rep for software. Was not on-site. Given a phone number. As soon as it answered, a recording told me to go see the on-site rep. Great..there wasn’t one. Come to find out, many other vendors had the same issue. Was asked to remove the event and reattach to the event I was attending. Nothing changed.
It was then suggested that I take the “best picture possible” of the QR code in the attendee badge. Include the name of the attendee. Send them to this vendor in hopes they could ascertain the attendee information. Great…
Sent an email to the vendor the first work day after the event. Got an automatic reply.
I have a bunch of QR code badge picture and all my leads disappeared from my device from day day two, the only day it worked successfully.
They might be in the cloud, at this point I can’t access them.
Fingers crossed I get access to the more than 100 leads I scanned in day two, but at this point, I highly doubt it.
Must have been a heck of a salesman to get the host to use this app. Not impressed.

Best on the market!
Used the app at CES this year. It was so easy to capture and qualify leads. And they provided a list of my leads that I easily imported into HubSpot. Took just a few minutes. Life saver.
Cheated with the price
Went to a show and the sales person told me half the price I was charged later. After complaint, he promised to fix it but it never happened.
The app is functionally ok

One of the beat I have ever used
I have worked hundreds of shows, this by far was the best lead retrieval system from start to finish that I have ever used!!!!!!
Can’t export. Junk App
I have used about 6 different apps during trade shows to scan potential clients. This is by far the worst. You CANNOT export database to email. Must screen shot each one and email what a waste of time. The last one I used not only was super easy to use, it was super easy to export. They should at least send out follow up emails about how to export like many of the others do even though is self explanatory. So disappointed.

Bad
Sitting in my hotel room after a 3-day tradeshow and can’t download our contacts... I’ve tried repeatedly over the last hour, their website is down... I called the company to let them know, and there was no option to reach customer service or leave a message.
We weren’t able to use android devices during the show. A service person stopped by our booth and we shared the issue but no one ever followed up.
CompuSystems charged $495 for their lead retrieval app. I have used many other lead retrieval services, with much success, and never felt ripped off.
Given our overall bad experience, I hope that tradeshow organizers read this and will stay away from CompuLEAD

Horrible scam
They charge $599 to use the app at a tradeshow then when you get home you cannot download it you must only review your leads on the phone that you scanned the leads on which means you can’t review everything quickly in a spreadsheet to look at notes etc. they don’t tell you this I’ve done 20 different trade shows and never ever was not able to easily download onto my CRM there is absolutely no customer service you call the number and I sat on hold for over two hours they do not call back they do not return emails if you do a trade show and use this app you should tell the owners of the trade show you will not attend or get a booth

Generic error
Generic error Generic error Generic errorGeneric error. That’s all I get when I try and add the new event.
Capture was great. Can’t get leads.
The lead capture/scanning was great. But now we can’t download our leads and there is zero support.
No other like this
None of the other shows I've done this year have had lead retrieval software that allows the exhibitors to upload marketing literature to the app. After you scan a badge, you can send them any the documents they've asked for and they'll have it in their email before they're on the plane back home. If every retrieval app did this one simple thing, we could eliminate the need to print, ship, and carry around marketing literature. And none of it would end up in the tradeshow garbage cans. Any software company that doesn't add this feature to their app is missing the boat. CompuLead, I want your software at every show. Seriously.

Toy Fair 2014
We were actually less than thrilled with this product. The app worked most of the time in the booth, but we weren't able to download our contacts without considerable difficulty and concerted effort. (Still dont have all of them) We went through the trouble to customize the survey (because we were told it would be $50 at the show) and it wasn't added anyway... Save your money.

Not as good as others
As others have mentioned there are no scanning capabilities like other tradeshow lead apps (iLEADs is amazing) which makes this a waste of money as far as I'm concerned.
Terrible. What a disappointment.
Losing leads.
You can't scan a badge, you have to manually enter the number, and then it occasionally cuts off the last number. When you're not connected to wifi, it purports to save the number, but won't actually sync to give their info, even four days later.
The app doesn't even have a QR code scanner built in to achieve the same functionality as the hardware version you can rent. How many apps use the camera as a scanner? Basic stuff.
After paying over $500 for the license to use this app at the SEMA Show, it was a gigantic disappointment in every way.
Customer service is clueless when they actually answer the phones. Nice racket this company has going with trade shows.

GREAT Lead Retrieval
I participate in 12 to 15 trade shows each year and we use lead retrieval in most of these. I understand the last reviewers frustration but if he had 3G or wireless access he would have reviewed this app more positively. I used it on my 4G iPad and it worked flawlessly. The ability to email each prospect literature as I spoke to him was invaluable. Follow up reports, editing features, etc are all excellent. I highly recommend this app. Just make sure you are going to have cell or wireless access at the show before you order it.

Shame there was no info
We made the mistake of ordering this, thinking it would allow scanning of visitors badges to enter the data.
Sad to find out you have to type in the number and that it doesn't work offline. AT&T service is always poor when more than 2 iPhones in the room.
I feel a sucker for buying this service, should have just used a regular barcode scanner of which we have loads
Just to add, this awful company totally refused to refund the $400 or so we had paid for this worthless garbage.

VP of Sales
I used this product at the recent InfoComm show and it worked great!!! Very easy to navigate through the application and was able to view my leads almost instantly on the Internet. The feature I liked most about this product was the fact I was able to continue to take leads at an offsite event that took place after the show floor closed! Great product, would definitely recommend this to others.

Don't buy this app
It doesn't work. It crashed during the whole show. Not a single lead we entered was saved. It doesn't work off line. It doesn't scan badges. You have to type the numbers in by hand. We ended up writing everything down on a piece of paper like a bunch of idiots. It isn't forth $1 let alone the $400 they charged. I want my money back.

Good but room for improvement
Tried it out at AAOS this year. Worked well, you just need to come out with an iPad version and allow the screen to rotate horizontally.
