Can you please add a filter so that we can filter spicy vs non spicy meals?

Food arrives warm, delivery drivers are unprofessional, and the website and app are buggy, but this is still the best food delivery service that I’ve tried, and I’ve tried a lot of them. No packing waste, biodegradable trays that can go in the oven, larger menu than competitors, but I still find myself having to reorder the same thing fairly often.

Found HAIR in food 🤮🤮
Just like any other food service it just gets old after a few weeks. My last order came last Friday and most of the meals expiration date only gave me a few days to eat 6 meals. Does not matter though as I was eating the Pork Shoulder and Mac&Cheese I literally pulled a fairly long black HAIR out of the pork. I'm traumatized.

The best ready meals
I’ve done Factor prior to CookUnity and it’s not even close. CookUnity is SO MUCH BETTER. The options are better, shipping is better, the food tastes better and has more protein than factor. The cost is the same if not less! This is absolutely the way to go if you’re looking to buy meal ready meals.

There is NO "What's New" tab in app or on website
Help! There is NO "What's New" tab in my app. I know exactly where it SHOULD be and it's not there. How can I get a human to fix this issue??

Generated emails using iCloud for cook unity specifically, cook unity appears to share your information with 3rd parties.
Not the best experience
Can’t resolve my problem. The app is easy to order and pay, but if you have any issues after that, forget it. AI is your only recourse. Maybe try using human beings to solve problems. I had a simple conflict, that could have easily been solved if there was a human being to answer questions. Instead I’m so frustrated texting to a computer. I WILL NOT put myself through this again. I haven’t even tried a meal yet.

Great App, couple of suggestions
The app is fairly smooth. I enjoy the convenience of it!
Two things I would love to make it better:
1) Would be great to be able to hide meals from the list that you’ve tried and maybe they aren’t for you, or you know you would never order it because you don’t like a major ingredient. Would also help make sure they don’t get sent if you forget to update your order.
2) It doesn’t appear that you can review meals in the app. I can add an item as a favorite, but cannot rate or review anything. It would be nice to be able to provide feedback in the app.

Too many pop ups
The pop ups that keep appearing on every page change are beyond annoying. Let me do what I am doing first before you hammer me with upsells and other screens that have nothing to do with what I am trying to accomplish. Why if I am opening up the cart do I need an “ad” to appear to tell me to add something new? Let me go to the cart and do what I need to do. So annoying I might just cancel this because of this alone!

Bad meal quality, not a good meal prep alternative
Meals were gross and all except 1 went bad within 3 or less days. This meal service sucks.
Just don’t
Once they have your card info, it’s extremely difficult to actually cancel your subscription. They obfuscate the cancel process and will happily keep charging you for items you didn’t select, instead of waiting for your confirmation! Now I have weeks of food sitting at an elderly persons door, rotting away while they are in another state getting medical treatment. Saw a ghost order got placed on my account, contacted same day, they refused to cancel saying they were going to send them out regardless, even after explaining the situation. When will these companies learn that Indian call centers and AI assistants only ruin the customer experience. Entire business model revolves around getting your credit card in their system. Run far far away

17.6 million cook unity customer names, emails, address, phone numbers and other private information was part of a recent hack and mishandling of private information with the underlying exploit still active.
The company still has not given notice to customers and their inaction is damaging to millions of people. The alert has been active since June 1st 2026

Lack of support and misguiding information
Twice I tried to refer people for a challenge and twice I was told that the referrals didn’t count because the orders were placed in time but the charge hadn’t gone through yet despite the bank hold. It is incredibly frustrating especially since you can’t speak to anybody on the phone for help. The app continues to say that I have time to refer people despite the impossibility of it completing in time. Incredibly misleading by them

Great - except…
My only real complaint is the delivery experience. My deliveries are only available on Wednesdays, and the estimated delivery window is almost never accurate. Even when I click the tracking link to see the “next stop” time, it ends up being several hours later than what’s shown. It makes it really difficult to plan my day, especially when I’m working.
Living in Arizona, I’m also a little concerned that the meals are delivered in a black insulated bag with ice packs rather than a box with dry ice. While the food has generally arrived cold, the combination of the extreme heat and unpredictable delivery times makes me worry about how long the meals are sitting outside.
If CookUnity could improve the delivery tracking accuracy and packaging for hotter climates, it would easily be a 5-star service for me.

The App is Frustrating!
I’m canceling service because of the app. You cannot find or order from your favorites. You loose items that were already selected. It’s definitely not worth the aggravation
Worst App Ever!!!
There are so many bugs that the app is basically useless. You can’t order from your favorites you can’t find your favorites. The fact that. You can’t basically place an order without getting frustrated is ridiculous. I’m canceling my subscription because using the app is not worth the frustration. The food is average.

Great Service
Just cancelled my subscription after a year and a half. I’ll be moving across the country and can’t afford a meal delivery service. Out of all of the ready-made meal services, CookUnity absolutely can’t be beat. The selection is massive and great for picky eaters. They have a four meal plan, so you don’t HAVE to pay a minimum of $80 per week. The food comes fresh and is delicious. Very sad to go. Would recommend.

Food Is Great, The App Is Terrible
Absolutely terrible UX in the app to the point where I feel discouraged to want to order. You cannot simply login and modify your order and select confirm. Multiple things pop up to upgrade this or upgrade that or if you want to only have 6 meals compared to 8 you can’t click confirm, you have to modify your plan first. Which again takes you through multiple pop ups of suggestions instead of simply being able to modify your plan. And only then are you able to go back to your cart, find it’s been reset and you have to remove and read again. An absolute nightmare. The site version is just as bad.

Too much upsell
Why won't you let us filter out premium items???
Fine, with occasionally terrible UI
The app works fine overall, but its ui can be clunky on mobile. This is at its prime with pausing plans. The UI elements that are trying to provide CTAs away from pausing your plan are so large that you LITERALLY can’t do anything but click on them or cancel. They essentially block you via the front end.
Until they remove this I’m keeping my score, but may reevaluate otherwise.
