The App is Frustrating!
I’m canceling service because of the app. You cannot find or order from your favorites. You loose items that were already selected. It’s definitely not worth the aggravation
Worst App Ever!!!
There are so many bugs that the app is basically useless. You can’t order from your favorites you can’t find your favorites. The fact that. You can’t basically place an order without getting frustrated is ridiculous. I’m canceling my subscription because using the app is not worth the frustration. The food is average.

Great Service
Just cancelled my subscription after a year and a half. I’ll be moving across the country and can’t afford a meal delivery service. Out of all of the ready-made meal services, CookUnity absolutely can’t be beat. The selection is massive and great for picky eaters. They have a four meal plan, so you don’t HAVE to pay a minimum of $80 per week. The food comes fresh and is delicious. Very sad to go. Would recommend.

Food Is Great, The App Is Terrible
Absolutely terrible UX in the app to the point where I feel discouraged to want to order. You cannot simply login and modify your order and select confirm. Multiple things pop up to upgrade this or upgrade that or if you want to only have 6 meals compared to 8 you can’t click confirm, you have to modify your plan first. Which again takes you through multiple pop ups of suggestions instead of simply being able to modify your plan. And only then are you able to go back to your cart, find it’s been reset and you have to remove and read again. An absolute nightmare. The site version is just as bad.

Fine, with occasionally terrible UI
The app works fine overall, but its ui can be clunky on mobile. This is at its prime with pausing plans. The UI elements that are trying to provide CTAs away from pausing your plan are so large that you LITERALLY can’t do anything but click on them or cancel. They essentially block you via the front end.
Until they remove this I’m keeping my score, but may reevaluate otherwise.

I feel as if this is a scam, I just opened the account placed a order, I fixed my schedule and I’m not gonna get a refund on a mean i skipped. I just opened it and it can’t be cancelled and yall are not an able to be contacted

Generated emails using iCloud for cook unity specifically, cook unity appears to share your information with 3rd parties

If you favorite a meal, you can't add that meal to your cart from the favorites list...wtf is this design
The new packaging is worse and smaller portions
They recently updated to new packaging that comes apart when you heat it up and the portions are noticeable smaller. Go back!
Good food, lousy app
The food is generally very good but the app needs serious work. Frequently freezes, becomes unresponsive, often doesn’t acknowledge items added to cart, and is generally overly cluttered and confusing. Please fix!

Poor customer service
While trying to cancel my subscription the app magically stopped working on the my account page where I was prompted with an option to upgrade to Unity Pass, both a “not now” and the “x” button would not work. I tried closing the app multiple times and tried again, nothing changed. I figured the app was frozen, on a final attempt both options to opt out of unity pass did not work… but go figure the enroll now button did and then the app worked perfectly fine.
The instant charge of $23.99 to my account, no warning or anything. Contacted customer service 7minutes after the activation and their response “it’s in the subscription detailed there’s no refund”.
Long story short decent food, poor customer service, and horrible app UI design. Won’t be returning

Good Luck with Billing
They used to bill once a week, usually on the same day. That’s perfect for a weekly delivery service. Now they Bill on seemingly random day, sometimes multiple times per week! Good luck, keeping track of those charges. I don’t know why they made that change, but it certainly makes the billing harder to follow. Was that their intent?

You can’t beat it
Discovering Cookunity was the best thing I’ve done in awhile. I did research & compared against other food delivery services & nobody is coming close to the connivence, variety & flavor that cook uniity offers. I’ve been able to save so much time & money & tried so many new delicious meals! For the price you cannot beat having restaurant made meals straight to your door that you can pop right in the oven. I’ll be sticking with Cookunity for sure

Why I canceled after 3 deliveries
The food arrived too warm, and it’s not summer yet. I’m guessing those black bags won’t do well in the summer sun.
I was delivered someone else’s food, the delivery person knew they messed up so hid it by not leaving the packaging slip and covering the camera for the proof of delivery picture.
The menu is actually smaller than it seems and it became tough to get a good variety without eating the same thing every week.
The app and website are buggy and can be difficult to use. They’ll show an icon saying the food doesn’t match your preferences, but with no indication as to why, and on meals that perfectly fit what I like to eat.
I got a meal that had instructions to remove the chicken and cook it separately, but it was mixed in to the quinoa and sauce. That extra heating step was not obvious when ordering, and it was oven only, no microwave.
The only thing I liked about Cook Unity was the biodegradable trays, rather than plastic, and the idea of no packing waste, though it turned out that resulted in meals arriving with melted ice packs.

Bug still there
The service is good and I would love to keep using it but anytime I try and log in, the site or app never loads and that’s a bit frustrating so hopefully that gets fixed soon
Poor customer service
One of my orders arrived with 5 out of 7 meals opened (not fully sealed). You can imagine the mess inside the box. I request to get a refund and they instead give me a credit in my account. Next week order, they charged me instead of using the “credit”. Foods taste good, but the customer service is horrible.
