It’s having problems
Lots of bugs, does have problems with log in frequently which causes you to get kicked out. Typically I don’t have many issues but the same one pops up often
Worst app experience I have ever had
Seriously-community trust-despite knowing my passwords and answering the personal questions and submitting the email and text 2 factor questions absolutely accurately, I still get error messages. I have had problems with this app for YEARS!! And the only way to fix the problem is to actually call your reps to have them unlock my account. That’s personnel time they could have used to do something more important and more dissatisfaction for this customer. PLEASE provide a way for us to fix these problems ourselves. Stop locking my account if mistype one letter. Omg!! I never had these problems with Wells Fargo which I banked with for 10 years. Ugh!

Why can’t I open the app?
Everytime I click on the app it instantly crashes, I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling and nothing works. It’s been like this for months and it used to work perfectly on the same phone for years beforehand.

Accounts not showing
I have two accounts that have been promised by multiple employees to be able to be seen on my mobile app and they still are not working. Been at least two years.

It would be great to be able to pull up routing and account #’s in the app somewhere.

App is really outdated. I use about 10 different banks and credit union. Community Trust has the most outdated app of all of them.

Bad bank, terrible app
I do not understand the amount of 4 and 5 star reviews. This app has so few features, and half of them barely work or just don’t. The app constantly asks for authentication even though Face ID is enabled, and it will lock you out randomly with no warning or message about what’s happening. You can’t do basic things like look up your account and routing number, and I’ve yet to deposit a check on here with mobile banking. Everything is hard to look up and is slow and the app itself has just the ugliest interface you could imagine. It’s horrifically outdated. Customer service in person is abysmal. They act like they’re doing you a favor to even let you in the doors. They have no deposits by atm at their banking location, so you’re forced to speak with one of the jerks inside or through the drive thru. I’ve yet to have a positive experience with this bank after more than a year. I want to support credit unions and will but it won’t be with CTBI.

Completely nonfunctional app
As the title states, the app is completely non-functional. When the ‘help’ icon is pressed, it force closes the app. This is the third time this week, that I’ve had to call (typical call time of an hour) because the app will not remember any password that is set. Face ID hasn’t worked the entire time. The standard these days is pretty low but good god, at least try.

Mobile Banking
I switched banks a few years ago because my old bank struggled to keep up with mobile banking options. I’m in my 50’s but I love mobile banking. I haven’t had a checkbook in almost 16 years. This is just so much easier and convenient. CTBI keeps up with the times and gives me one less thing to worry about. Love their mobile banking.

Deposits
We have had a terrible time for years making deposits to our account. My wife’s complete first name middle and both last names have to be perfect. Amazing the difficulty we have had depositing and or wire transferring money.
