I would never recommend anyone to Dahabshiil, I have sent money to different individuals some takes days before there’s a response. They claim it’s fast payment but I am telling you it’s not. There phone don’t even work, to get response on the message app takes forever to get a reply and it says on the app typically response in few minutes. I had multiple bad experience. When it matters the most they not there.

I am filing a complaint regarding my experience with technical support, which lasted for hours without actually resolving the issue of losing access to my account.
I contacted support multiple times and provided full security verification details during each attempt; however, I was transferred between several agents who had no visibility of previous conversations, forcing me to resubmit my personal information repeatedly.
Responses were significantly delayed sometimes with intervals of over 30 minutes between messages despite the urgent nature of the situation.
On one occasion, the chat session was automatically closed without a resolution, even though I was still actively engaged in the conversation.

Terrible Service – Cancellation Not Honored
I had one of the worst experiences with Dahabshiil Money Transfer. I sent money on Saturday expecting it to reach my client within 5–10 minutes. When the transfer was delayed, I immediately contacted customer support and requested that it be canceled. They confirmed that the cancellation was successful and told me my money would be refunded within 3–5 days.
Then, about 24 hours later, I received an email saying the recipient had received the money anyway—even though I was explicitly told the transfer had been canceled.
This is completely unacceptable. If a company confirms a cancellation, it should not process the transfer afterward. I lost trust in their service because of the poor communication and failure to honor their own confirmation. I would not recommend Dahabshiil to anyone looking for a reliable money transfer service.

Very poor customer service, I gave up! I thought they would be better responding but honestly I gave up. It just caused me a massive bill holding ..800 number that is a premium in UK at the end. I just put the phone down? I really suggest people to use other apps that’s got better response.

After I sent the money, they contacted me asking to send them a copy of my bank statement showing the transaction I sent the money to them yesterday. I told them that transaction will show up my next month bank statement. They say “we wait then we will release the money next month!” I told them to send my current month statement and my paycheck copy. They said no. They ask for the impossible so I asked them to cancel. What a waste of time!
And yeah, their verification process is crazy.
