Great for foreigners

I have the GoPay app but it requires you to top up at a store or bank (listed in app), can’t use a linked card. A bit inconvenient. With Dana, within seconds I was able to link my Wise bank card and while the first transaction required approval within Wise app, the second and so on were automatic. I find the app easy to navigate and so far a great experience.

This app has become more frustrating than useful. The iPad experience is especially bad, and landscape orientation feels almost completely ignored. For an app that should work smoothly across different devices, this is a serious problem.
The login system is also unnecessarily inconvenient. If you are already signed in on one device, switching to another device is not simple. You are forced to go through authorisation again. If your main device runs out of battery, you should be able to quickly continue on another device, but instead you waste time dealing with reauthorisation, which is not always practical or even possible at that moment.
Dark mode also feels unfinished. Even when it is enabled in the settings, many menu elements remain bright white, which makes the app uncomfortable to use, especially in low light.
The English localisation is poor as well. Many words and interface elements are still not translated on different screens, which makes the app feel incomplete and poorly maintained.
The interface itself is overloaded with unnecessary banners, prompts, and promotional elements. Basic actions are not made easier; instead, the app feels cluttered. Even topping up the account is inconvenient because of constant limits, restrictions, and other issues. Some banks that previously worked for top-ups suddenly stop working without any clear explanation.
One of the most annoying problems is DANA as a payment method for purchases inside the App Store. Sooner or later, the App Store may suddenly stop accepting DANA and ask you to link it again. At the same time, DANA shows an error saying that the linked-device limit has been reached, even after all DANA connections have already been removed inside the App Store. This should be manageable inside the DANA app, but in reality the connection does not properly unlink, and the same error keeps appearing. As a result, this payment method becomes useless because it simply does not work.
User feedback is completely ignored. Everything seems to be pushed onto bots, but the bots do not solve the actual problems. These same issues have continued for several years and still remain unresolved.
Overall, the app feels neglected, inconvenient, and not focused on users. I do not recommend it. It is better to avoid it and use other services or competing apps instead.

Bahkan pengisian saldo pun tidak praktis karena adanya batasan yang terus-menerus, berbagai pembatasan, dan masalah lainnya. Beberapa bank yang sebelumnya bisa digunakan untuk pengisian saldo tiba-tiba berhenti berfungsi tanpa penjelasan yang jelas.
Salah satu masalah yang paling menjengkelkan adalah penggunaan DANA sebagai metode pembayaran untuk pembelian di App Store. Cepat atau lambat, App Store bisa tiba-tiba berhenti menerima DANA dan meminta Anda menautkannya kembali. Pada saat yang sama, DANA menampilkan kesalahan bahwa batas perangkat yang tertaut sudah tercapai, meskipun semua koneksi DANA sudah dihapus di dalam App Store. Hal ini seharusnya bisa dikelola melalui aplikasi DANA, tetapi pada kenyataannya koneksi tersebut tidak benar-benar terputus, dan kesalahan yang sama terus muncul. Akibatnya, metode pembayaran ini menjadi tidak berguna karena memang tidak berfungsi.
