Alerts are out of control
Had to uninstall so I could get a nights sleep. There is no way to silent the alerts and the volume is so loud and you can’t change it. Let me be the person who decides what alerts are best for me. It’s beyond frustrating and even when you change the settings to vibrate it doesn’t work.

Exponentially terrible
I didn’t think this app could suck any more than it exponentially does, but I scroll across to see the times of certain BGLS and the only listing I get is a ‘PM’ or ‘AM’ but no Goddamned time, so I can’t tell how long its been to gauge trends that will follow. Alarms still sound non-stop and on my profile page - it now freezes and doesn’t allow me to hit any button to adjust ANYTHING.
I have to force quit the app to get out and restart the app.

Ping all the time
I’m a first time user of the Dexcom G7. I don’t like you can’t close out of the app. The app has to stay open to get readings. If I accidentally close the app. It takes 10-30 minutes to “find the censor.” I feel like that’s basic. Notifications should be able to turn off except for critical. I work with people and I don’t line I don’t have control to put it on vibration or turn it off. For me a great feature would be to be able to get an exact reading just by the slide of your finger. But I would love to have the other fixed first.

No Alert at Night when LOW!!
Zero stars! The app isn’t alarming at night when I go low! I was low (in the 50’s) for over two hours while sleeping and nothing! My pump actually shut off my insulin (thankfully) AND thankfully it rose back up on its own, BUT this could have been a VERY different outcome (and so we’re clear, I COULD HAVE DIED). Yes, I have ALL low alarms turned on at night. This is a CRITICAL FAILURE on Dexcom’s part!!! ⚠️

Night Mode
Please for the love of god add night mode capability. Alarms at 3am for low blood sugar are bad enough without the bright white screen
Comically terrible
I would rate this app less than one star if I could. So many double notifications. Triple, even. Twice with the app not open and once more when it is open. It will not rotate orientations most of the time. Had to delete and reinstall because it just completely stopped opening. At least you can use this one with notifications turned off.

Repetitive notifications
I’ve had enough being warned that some people are selling stolen and defective sensors. On the tenth round of dismissing the notification that is keeping me from seeing my numbers, I think I’ve gotten the message.
Not for nothing, but it seems like it would be easy to disable those lot numbers from being activated, so only those with stolen sensors would need an alert.

Frequent sensor erros
I feel like my g6 tech was better than the g7, the fact that my sensor has “brief sensor errors” throughout the day kinda defeats the point of cgm. Hope something is being done to rectify this issue
Do not trust this sensor.
The Dexcom G7 does not last 10 days reliably. I’d say there’s a 65% rate that it will actually last 10 days. These sensor start to fail 90% of the time. Inserting the in the abdomen is extremely unreliable.
The App is bad
The G7 sensor is great. The App is however terrible. If your blood sugar is low enough, the app will notify you of such by literally crying like a baby. Loudly. It terrified myself and my wife late at night while we were in bed. This is absolutely unacceptable. I’ve deleted the app off my phone because of this and refuse to download it u til this is corrected.

Disappointed
The G6 was flawless. The G7 10 day: not so much. Multiple failures. But Dexcom has been upfront with accountability by providing replacements.

Fix the Alerts!!!
I love my Dexcom in that the physical system does a great job giving me good readings and staying connected for the full 10 days. But the app is absolutely atrocious. I have different sounds set up based on the level of my low, but the app just has both go off no matter the level. I used to be able to tell how urgent the low was by the sound of the alert, but that’s futile now since every sound goes off every time. Additionally, I have the system set so high alerts should not go off between 10pm and 6am and all low alerts should be different from the sound during the day (to wake me up). But it generally just gives off the same sound no matter what time of day which is so annoying. These issues are incredibly frustrating and really defeat the purpose of selecting different sounds for different urgencies of lows. This needs to be a priority fix!!! I have reported this feedback numerous times directly within the app and have never heard any response or seen any fix.

Too buggy for a critical app
I used the G7 for a while, hated it. Switched back to the G6 and now had to switch back because Dexcom is no longer making the G6. Unfortunately both the sensor and app have not improved. Specifically, the app is full of bugs that significantly impact its functionality which is a critical issue given it keeps me alive. Dexcom can and should do better.

Get ready to be woken up every night for the rest of your life. I work on call and get a lot of calls after hours. I get more false alerts from this application waking me up then I do from my on-call job. It is absolutely ridiculous. There is a way to silence critical alerts, but there’s no way to turn them off without shutting down the entire application. If you silence them, it only silences them for six hours which you’re almost guaranteed to get one as soon as it turns back on. Why in the world would they set the time limit to six hours? Most people don’t wanna be woken up in the middle of the night so why in the world would they said it to where you’re gonna be woken up in the middle of your sleep cycle? The developers of this application have absolutely no common sense. I would advise to use literally any other CGM on the market because this one is absolute trash.

Terrible update
Ever since the update my notifications are not as loud making it very difficult to hear especially when sleeping! FIX THIS!
Unusable - Crashes every load
App crashes every single time it launches — sometimes freezes my phone first. Crash logs show a clear deadlock: main thread stuck waiting on a dispatch_once init while another thread tries to sync back to it. iOS force-kills the app after a few seconds.

Frustrated
I love the Dexcom G7 for keeping me safe, but the notification system is broken. Even with Do Not Disturb or Focus modes on, the app still blasts alerts every couple of minutes. As an avid hunter, I need complete silence in the field, yet I can’t fully mute it because of diabetes. The constant interruptions make it impossible to use my phone for anything else. It gets worse with my Omnipod insulin pump. A single low blood sugar can trigger around twenty-five notifications in five minutes across both apps. This isn’t just annoying; it’s a serious problem for anyone who needs quiet or focus. Please give users real control to silence alerts completely when needed.

Terrible App
Half of the sensors I use don’t work. I can’t stand the repetitive Notifications as if I can change my glucose on demand. It’s a horrible way to monitor your diabetes. Made me want to ignore my condition entirely.
If I say dismiss just go away
I get nagged 3-4 times a day to tell me about technical support. STOP I said dismiss. If I click the button for help I get an invalid page / http 404 error. Whoever made this change clearly didn’t test it or use it themselves

Omg get rid of this pop up when I’m at work and wanna quickly engage and see my blood sugars this pops up making me having to dismiss wait a few second then read my blood sugars
