Joke program

Worst app ever. Doesn’t work. The install is exceptionally painful. I wish I could return my product.

Response from developer

We’re sorry to hear this was such a frustrating experience. The app is designed to support setup and control for compatible Delta products, and when followed as intended, the installation process works reliably for the vast majority of customers. If setup didn’t go as expected or you’re unsure whether your product is supported, our support team can help clarify and provide guided assistance. You can reach Delta Faucet support at 1‑800‑345‑DELTA (3358).

UI needs work

I really wanted to be excited about this app as a way to control my faucet without needing Alexa or whatnot. But it needs work. The buttons in the control UI aren’t flaky and don’t respond reliably to touch. Plus there’s no visual or audible feedback that you’ve touched the button which makes things more frustrating.
The UI to dispense arbitrary amounts has the same problem and is clunky to use

Finally why do I have to sign into 2 accounts on the app?

Looking forward to improvements i hope

Response from developer

Thank you for the thoughtful and detailed feedback—we appreciate you taking the time to call these things out. Input around touch responsiveness, feedback cues, and control workflows is exactly the kind of insight we use to improve the experience, and it’s something our team is actively reviewing for future releases. Regarding the two sign‑ins, we agree this isn’t ideal. We’re currently working toward consolidating the login experience and expect to merge these into a single account later this year. We appreciate your patience and your interest in where the app is headed. Feedback like this directly helps shape upcoming improvements.

Junk

Apparently, we have to use this monstrosity now because they’re shutting down the website that used to control it. Simply trying to get my account set up, this junk program locked up five different times forcing me to end the task and then try again five or six times before it finally was able to complete. I can only imagine what the control is going to be like and the integration with Alexa if their app is this horrible.

Response from developer

We understand how frustrating that experience must have been, and we appreciate you sharing it. As part of the transition to app‑based control, we’ve identified and addressed several early stability issues, and recent software updates have resolved the types of setup interruptions you’re describing. The app is designed to provide reliable control and integration once setup is complete, and we’re continuing to improve performance and polish based on customer feedback. If you do run into trouble during setup or would like more guided assistance, our support team is available at 1‑800‑345‑DELTA (3358).

Sucks

No way for me to add my faucet to the app. Joke app.

Response from developer

We’re sorry this was frustrating. The app does support adding compatible faucets and includes a guided, step‑by‑step setup flow that is designed to take customers through the process from start to finish. That setup experience works as intended for the vast majority of customers when followed as outlined. If you’re still unable to complete setup or feel something isn’t working as expected, our support team can provide additional guidance. You can reach Delta Faucet support at 1‑800‑345‑DELTA (3358).

Font

Font too big on iPhone 15

Response from developer

Thank you for sharing this feedback—we understand how important comfortable text sizing is to the overall experience. We’ve done extensive testing to ensure the app’s font scales appropriately across a wide range of screen sizes, including newer iPhone models. In some cases, text can appear larger depending on device-level accessibility or custom font size settings, which may affect how the app is displayed. That said, we appreciate you calling this out, as it helps us continue refining how the app adapts to different configurations. Your feedback is valuable and helps guide future improvements.

Awful

Where is the English version? Why does any interruption to the WiFi mean I need to literally uninstall the app, reinstall it and go through the entire install process again? This is absolutely insane for a luxury product. Delta, is anyone even working on this app? Have any of you actually used it in real life? It feels like something completely abandoned during an early stage of development and not a complete piece of software.

Let users adjust steam pre-heat time

Users need to be allowed to select how much time to preheat the steam shower for. 15 minutes is not enough.

Response from developer

Thanks for your feedback! We understand the need for more flexibility in preheat time and appreciate your suggestion. While this option isn’t available yet, we’re always working to improve the app. We’ll share your input with our team. If you have more feedback, reach out via Account >> Product Support!

Steamist

So the old Steamist app no longer works. No communication from the company in advance about that of course. Down a new rabbit hole and I see Delta has this new app. I called delta and they sent me the new Brizo controller that is compatible with this app. Back in business. They should have handled this better but of course they’d rather break peoples functionality and hope and percentage don’t call in to complain.

Completely broken

Just installed new faucet, app claims this device can only be set up on webpage. Sends me to a webpage that says to finish setup of device before using the website. What is wrong with you Delta?!

No Steamist Support?

So the old Steamist app no longer works. No communication from the company in advance about that of course. Down a new rabbit hole and I see Delta has this new app. Of course, my Steamist system does not have a pairing code or QR code so how do I even set up this app to control my steam shower via WiFi like I was able to previously?
I regret not going with Kohler.

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it

Faucet has worked fine with the web interface and amazon and now I get an email on the last day of support telling me I have to set up this app instead. I sign in with the same info and it says that I don’t have an account. Bite me.

delta / brizo have killed steamist

Prior to Delta Faucet Company’s acquisition of Steamist, the Steamist application operated with remarkable efficiency. However, subsequent to this corporate transition, the original Steamist application was discontinued in favor of the DFC@Home application, which has regrettably not met the same standards of functionality.
In my current usage of the DFC@Home application for the warm-up cycle of my unit, I am constrained to a 15-minute duration, which is insufficient for the unit to attain the necessary operational temperature. Previously, the system allowed for a warm-up period extending to one hour, which was more conducive to my needs, as approximately 25 minutes is required to reach the optimal temperature. The necessity of manual intervention at the unit after a mere 15 minutes negates the convenience of remote application control intended to preheat the steam room.
Moreover, the former application featured integrated access to Pandora and Spotify, enhancing the user experience with seamless musical accompaniment. The current system’s reliance on input or Bluetooth connectivity for audio presents a significant inconvenience, as it precludes the ability to manage music selections from within the confines of the shower—the location where such control is most pertinent. The absence of a Bluetooth-enabled device within the steam shower environment, coupled with the impracticality of the input options, further compounds this issue.
In essence, the Delta Brizo brand seems to have deviated from the previously established standards of user convenience and technological integration that Steamist had adeptly maintained until a few months prior to its acquisition by Delta Faucet Company. The current state of affairs suggests a retrogressive shift in the user experience.

Response from developer

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We understand your concerns regarding the transition from the Steamist app to DFC@Home and the impact on your experience. Our goal is to continually improve functionality, and we appreciate insights like yours to help guide future updates. Regarding the warm-up cycle, we recognize that a 15-minute duration may not meet all users’ needs, and we are actively reviewing how to offer more flexibility. Your input on restoring the extended warm-up period is valuable, and we will share this with our development team as we work toward potential improvements. We also acknowledge the changes in audio integration. While the current system relies on input or Bluetooth connectivity, we understand how native streaming options like Pandora and Spotify enhanced convenience. We’re exploring ways to enhance the user experience and will consider your feedback as we evaluate future updates. We appreciate your patience and your investment in the Steamist experience. If you have any additional insights or need further assistance, please reach out via Account >> Product Support in the app. Your feedback is crucial in shaping the future of our app, and we’re committed to making meaningful improvements.
