Mind blowing if you’re living in a tier-1 city!
I have been living in Bangalore for long and started using District App recently and my experience has been phenomenal!
On an average, I saved around 10-11k in a month using the app - which is very good for a person going out 2-3 times in a week and spending good amount of time outside having a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience.
Must-try if you’re a wanderlust and an outgoing person.
Only drawback i felt is, the offer changes depends on your usage. Sometimes, it just rules out the offers on your account but is available to others.

Very good looking app with offers.
Worst Customer Support Experience Ever
This has been one of the worst customer support experiences I have ever had.
Due to a genuine medical emergency, I requested cancellation or rescheduling of my badminton booking and shared the required medical proof. Instead of receiving assistance, I was repeatedly misled by multiple support executives.
Aparjita collected my medical proof and promised a callback within two hours, but never called. Gurleen informed me that my booking had been cancelled and refunded, yet nothing was updated. Shubham kept me engaged for nearly 1.5 hours, failed to answer my questions, did not register the complaints I requested, and ended the interaction without any resolution. Komal delayed responses and ignored my queries. Ridhima could not even confirm whether my complaints against the executives would be registered. Finally, Mohit informed me that while my feedback would be shared internally, there was no provision to officially register a complaint against the support executives.
The most concerning part is the complete lack of accountability. Customers appear to have no transparent mechanism to formally complain about poor support, which raises serious concerns about the effectiveness of the grievance redressal process.
I have call recordings and chat transcripts supporting these interactions. I hope Zomato District investigates this matter thoroughly, improves its customer support standards, and introduces a transparent complaint process. No customer should have to spend hours chasing support only to receive contradictory information and no meaningful resolution.

Poor Transparency in Movie Ticket Booking
Very disappointing experience with Zomato District. While booking my movie ticket, the screen direction displayed during seat selection was different from the one shown after the booking was confirmed. Because of this, I ended up watching the movie from a lower row than I intended, even though many better seats were available at the time of booking.
This appears to be a misleading practice that can influence customers into selecting seats they would not otherwise choose. As a result, my movie experience was negatively affected and the money I spent felt wasted. I immediately uninstalled the app after this experience.
I hope the company investigates this issue and ensures that screen orientation and seat layouts are displayed accurately and consistently so that customers can make informed booking decisions.

Misleading offers and poor customer resolution
I booked movie tickets through District by Zomato because the app prominently advertised a "Free Coke Voucher" and clearly stated that the offer was applicable on a minimum purchase of two tickets.
However, after booking, I was informed that the offer provides only one drink per booking, regardless of how many eligible tickets are purchased. The problem is that this restriction was nowhere mentioned in the offer details displayed at the time of booking.
A reasonable customer would interpret the offer as applying to all qualifying tickets in the booking. If the intention was to provide only one drink per booking, the offer should have explicitly stated: "One complimentary drink per booking only." Hiding such a crucial condition and revealing it only after the purchase feels misleading and unfair.
What was even more disappointing was the customer support response. Instead of acknowledging the lack of transparency in the displayed terms, they simply repeated the undisclosed condition and closed the matter without providing a meaningful resolution.
Trust is built on transparent communication. If customers cannot rely on the offer details shown in the app, it becomes difficult to trust any promotion displayed on the platform.
I hope District by Zomato reviews its promotional practices and ensures that all material terms and restrictions are clearly disclosed before customers make a purchase.
Would not recommend relying on promotional offers advertised in this app.
