Urgent: Unacceptable Last-Minute Cancellation of Appointment

Hello DoctorC Team,
I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with your service. I booked a home service appointment four days ago for today, 31st July.
This morning, I received a abrupt WhatsApp message stating that you cannot fulfill the appointment due to "unforeseen circumstances." Cancelling a medical appointment at the very last minute after a four-day waiting period is highly unprofessional and disrupts patient care.
Please provide an immediate explanation, confirm when my full refund will be processed, or dispatch a phlebotomist immediately to honor the booking.

Think before you book

I booked a home sample collection through DoctorC on 21 July at around 8:15 AM. As instructed, I fasted for 8 hours before the test.

Around 7:00 AM, the assigned technician called and said he would arrive in 20 minutes. Just 10 minutes later, my appointment was automatically cancelled. No explanation. No call. No message.

When I called the technician, he simply said, “I have an emergency. Someone from the team will call you.” Nobody did.

I kept waiting without eating, assuming someone would at least update me. There was no communication whatsoever. Eventually, I had to find customer support myself through the app, only to end up waiting in the queue for another 45 minutes just to ask what was happening.

This experience raises serious concerns. If this can happen to me, what happens when the customer is an elderly person, a pregnant woman, or someone who is seriously ill and depending on timely medical services? In healthcare, communication and accountability are not optional—they’re essential.

My advice:

* Don’t rely solely on the scheduled appointment time.
* Consider paying only after the sample is collected, if that’s an option.
* Don’t be swayed by advertisements alone—judge a service by how it handles real customers when something goes wrong.

This experience has made me question the company’s credibility and accountability. When there is such a lack of communication around something as basic as sample collection, it’s natural to wonder whether the rest of the process is handled with the level of care and transparency that medical services require.

I’m sharing this not to attack anyone, but to make others aware and to encourage the company to improve its service standards. Healthcare providers have a responsibility to keep patients informed, especially when appointments are delayed or cancelled.

Worst experience ever - please do not ever book for a service.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with your service. I had booked a blood test package for me and my wife on 6th July and there was absolutely no update for the next 3 days despite multiple follow-ups. I only received a call from your escalation team after I sent an email to your CEO Ms. Neha Cherabuddi, and only then were our reports finally released.
To add to the horror, the reports shared were completely incorrect. When I raised this with your team, I was casually told it was a typo error and to my shock, a retest was refused. In a healthcare service, an incorrect report is not a typo, it is medical negligence and you are playing with people's health.
The entire escalation experience, especially the handling by Mr. Venkatesh, was absolutely disgusting, rude and non-helpful. This has been an absolutely pathetic experience and reflects a 3rd class service from a company that cannot be trusted with something as critical as health reports. I am demanding a full refund and a written explanation for this negligence.

Unprofessional staff

I had a very disappointing experience with Doctoc C. The person who came to collect my blood sample was not professional and seemed to lack proper technique. After the blood draw, I experienced significant pain and what appears to be internal bleeding/bruising around the puncture site. The discomfort has been much worse than any previous blood test I’ve had. I expected trained and experienced staff for a home sample collection service, but this experience has made me lose confidence in their quality of care. I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and improves the training of its staff to prevent others from going through the same experience.

Pathetic service don’t book any blood test from here.

Very bad service they don’t have manners to talk the customer. And my experience is worst when you book doctor consultation, I have not received any call and they are charging amount for that and after complaining they are saying their doctors called 3 times but not single time they are calling.
If you have serious concern found and you are relying on their test report and doctors consultation then you will die before their service reach you.
I am deleting the app and saving my time.
