This is why I hate apps
I need companies to realize that everyone hates apps like this. It isn’t a good customer experience and adds no value. The app doesn’t offer any useful policy information and has no way to view policy documents. If I’m only able to access this stuff on the website then why have an app at all? To pull up my details after an accident? Yeah, sure, I totally want to spend five minutes fiddling with a busted app to replace the manual process of pulling a piece of paper out of my wallet or glove box.
Every time I log in it asks me to go paperless (I’ve opted into this multiple times in the six years I’ve been with Encompass and it has never worked, whether on the app or website). There’s no way to update or change the incorrect contact info it lists for me (it lists an email I’ve literally never seen before). It redirects me to the website to make updates but the sign in info I use for the app DOES NOT WORK ON THE WEBSITE. No idea if this is a bug or what.
This is totally worth my rate going up by over 50% this year.

Never Works
App is complete trash and never works. Consistently says “An unexpected error has occurred”. Do better.
