Disappointing
I created my account (that part was easy) and logged on. I have 4 accounts (transferred from another provider). The generic names all looked the same bot with different last 4 numbers if the account. I could not tell which were which. I had to go to the old providers records to look at the amounts transferred to figure out by trial and error which account was which. I then proceeded to edit the nicknames of the accounts so I could more easily tell what’s what. Both on the web and in the phone app trying to edit nicknames met with errors. It took many many tries to change all 4 nicknames but I finally got it done. Now, I’m waiting to find out if it gives me good performance data.

Underwhelming
Compared to alternatives, Equitable’s app is poor. The user interface is annoying and antiquated, and I find it incredibly frustrating to use compared to the larger brokerages. It’s disappointing. I love my advisor but the technology gap has caused me on several occasions to rethink my relationship with equitable.

Useless app
The app show nothing but a blue screen. Anytime you click on the menu theres nothing to navigate to. Just saying good morning or good afternoon and my name. I know what time it is and I’m aware of my name..

Terrible app
Slow, crashes, you would think a company’s of this size would have a up to date app that works. It is the same as the website which is just as bad. Needs to be updated refreshed with better user friendly options and charts.

App seems to go down frequently, data is basic and not very useful. Overall the app needs to be refresh. I like the company, I guess that means more.
Updates
Updates to NAV take too long. With today’s technology this should be done at the end of the day not days later.
