Glitchy
Log in after resetting my password AGAIN, view account balance, good. Tap for recent transactions, it asks for password again and then won’t take the new password. Login on laptop with new password, no problem. This has happened over and over.
UI Issues
The layout on iPhone 15 is horrendous. I’m not able to fill out the form to file a claim because when I try to scroll in order to view the calendar, the calendar closes. Not to mention other weird UI choices.
I’m assuming most of these reviews are fake.
I’m not quite sure who is actually using this app and rating it 5 stars. The reviews seem to be timed perfectly apart and are vague.
AF, maybe add an option to add documentation to a claim before it is rejected so I’m not required to interact with this garbage app multiple times for a single claim. Plus we can head back towards it being functional.

Very frustrating and glitchy
App is not user friendly. Often when I click “next”, nothing happens. Then I have to re-enter all the information before I find out later that I didn’t need to. If you try to recover your password, you will need to call during business hours and wait on hold. Just a big time sink if you want to get the benefits that you were promised. Please do better. You would think for a company this size, they would program an app that works.

Every time I use this app—actually, every time I THINK about using this app—I wonder why it’s such garbage. Does AmFam not have the cash to develop a functional app of high utility? Whatever the reason, the app and the website are often down for requesting reimbursement; it’s an incredibly slow process when it does work; and you can’t copy and paste into the notes for the reimbursement. Nothing about it is intuitive. Bad AF app.
