App and website both erroring out
Terrible experience. App and website have you answer a series of questions and at the end- it makes you wait forever for a result and ends up erroring out multiple times.
Doesn’t work
Nothing about this app works at all, in fact, I can’t even get into it because it will not recognize information that the website will. I’ve reached out to the Ethos team multiple times now and spent accumulative 20 hours on hold. They do not care, they will not help you, and there is nobody on the opposite side who can do anything at all really. I will be switching providers shortly. I’m pretty sure this entire thing is a scam.

Not a fan of the App
Useless app if you already have a policy

I’m sure the app and service is great but I probably will never know. So they ask for a phone number to log in for estate planning, no Passkeys, no Authenticator, no email just a phone number. When I put in a phone number I get a prompt saying it “doesn’t match any account” Not only do they use the most spoofable spammed account possible but then it doesn’t work. If they spent just a little bit of that ad money on User Experience . . .

Garbage
The app is hot garbage and as others point out the trial is a scam. Also once you finalize stuff, I for the life of me can’t figure out how to download load the documents to notarize
Pointless
The app never lets me view my account. It just treats me like I’m a new customer and asks questions related to getting a quote. Absolutely useless for current customers.

Great app. Does what it says and easy to navigate. Would recommend for people interested in getting their life insurance policy done simply.

Total Scam
I have never seen an advertisement with 1 month free trial and suddenly within 10 mins of trial while navigating they suddenly charged me 349$ with igonarable disclaimer and after talking to them multiple times they hard way denied for refund. I completely disappointed by their free trial advertisement and their customer response. Highly recommend not to proceed with them for wills and trust, it just the beginning already trust is broken. There interface is also not that usefull and worth 350$, not worth it. I will make sure my reviews available in most of the platforms so people are not trapped with hidden disclaimers.

App Times Out Too Fast
When trying to update your information in this app, it logged you out after a few minutes. There’s no option to login unless you completely go out of the app and try to open it again. I don’t know who developed this app, but it is annoying, it waste time, and I don’t know if I would recommend it to anyone. The service seems to be OK so far, but it’s better if you use the service on your desktop computer.

Trying to do my will on here and literally constantly getting logged out. What the heck?? How am I supposed to trust this with my will if you can’t even get the app to work correctly?
Crashed so many times
This app is a great idea but unfortunately it crashes so much while I was filling out my application. Session timeout every 5 minutes. Please fix it!

Change is a huge mistake
I have used this app for nearly 5 years. I have loved it so much. It’s been about a year since I got on. I recently had a new baby, a loss in my family, and we got our first home. So today I logged on to add the new baby and edit my placement for my kids (since the person they would have gone to is the one that passed) and set up how my estate would be. Now I can’t find any of my info and it all cost a lot of money.

Of all the people to forget to ethical -I was totally shocked that you did not mark this as in house purchasesAnd when I opened it there was a button that said $149. Here I was taking their self great ethical attorneys working pro bono with an application development team and what I Downloaded i under the impression someone did something nice but alas I was a was disappointed in humanity
