Pure Rip Off

To finalise the check in I HAD to choose a seat, no random seat selection possible. Then - what a surprise - only extra leg room seat apparently were available. So I had to pay extra, no choice. Was my first time in ages to fly with Eurowings again, unfortunately the quality has changed to the worse - Not going to chose Eurowings again.

Frustrated

I have already checked in online and I am trying to change my seat. Nowhere on the website can I find out how to do this. So frustrating!!!! I will look for a phone number but that is not obvious either. I don’t find the website easy to operate at all despite the fact that I use Eurowings several times a year.

Easy Booking

Very Straightforward Booking Process. Customer friendly.

Check-in process slow

Did not offer to scan my passport, had to enter manually. Credit card details (saved in browser) did not autopopulate. Unclear if my Lufthansa or United profile was accepted to be linked.

Poor

Took me two hours to check in. App is awful.

Dates!

I used the iPhone app. The dates seem to only be entered through a simple calendar starting on the current date and moved by an arrow per month. As my birthdate is 65 years before can we do the maths on the number of clicks ? Some field testing UX needed app developers.

Without use during a pinch.

Frustrating

Several features frustrate me. I have to input the same information every time….so what’s the point of a log in?
My flight details (like baggage information) are not available on the app until I’ve checked in….I don’t book my flights do need to be able to check in advance what baggage has been booked.
My bookings have to be added manually to the app.
Just think with a few bit of fine tuning it would be much easier to use.

really annoying they give you middle seats so you have to pay for windows or aisles… won’t be using them again

App lackluster

The app never remembers one’s information, even if the person is logged in and has a rewards number. Very frustrating.

Integration with website is a resounding fail

Checked in online - failed to save my passport information yet still confirmed “All set - you’re checked in” went to the app and had to do the whole thing again. Very poor experience with confusion and frustration the lasting sensation!

Personal information

Why do I have to complete my personal information every time? Why can’t the app record and store my personal information - and that of my family - like BA, Emirates, etc etc? Also - why not put the countries most passengers will come from at the top of the list of nationalities? Scrolling through 190 countries to get to UK four times per booking is just annoying.

Generally useful

If you got issues like me with accessing boarding pass even though you checked in, try deleting and re downloading the app.

Excellent app

Great Service

Probably the best and easiest airline I have ever used (and I use a lot of airlines). The app works well, price was good and included luggage (more than I actually needed). Well Eurowings other airline could learn a lot from you.
