I live in a building called The Glen in Centennial and the charging stations are always down. Give you multiple errors. Sometimes you have to go twice downstairs to reconnect it and disconnect it reconnected it’s a mess.
Compliance Only
No attempt to provide an experience worth repeating. Screens in direct sun where local temps normally exceed 110° for weeks at a time. Broken equipment. Numbering that is hard to comprehend. App shows two choices when there are six! You just can’t see that unless you accidentally scroll right and find the other four options. App just hangs there spinning and without explanation. Ultimately, if you thought you were safe now in the 115° heat because you’ll be able to charge at the only fast charger for 40 miles, you’re dead.
EVs are still a chore to drive far from home. EV Gateway makes that even worse.

Both the chargers and the app are terrible.

Non existent support team
I have had two incidents where the station automatically disconnects the charging cable before the expected charge %. I raised a ticket with the team and they said they will look into it. They didn’t respond to me after a while. This was a new car and I assumed that I had set something wrong. The same thing happened again after a month and I was sure that this time it was not a car issue. They responded to my ticket and then nothing no response for 2 weeks. Their support team is non existent and is a joke. I would recommend use alternatives if possible.

In Palm Springs didn’t work at all tried two chargers call for help not helpful

This is the message you need to get accustomed to seeing when you use this app.
Not reliable
Downloaded this in a pinch and never worked.
Unreliable
It never connects to my car. I have to call costumer service to get connected and 3 out of 4 times they can't connect the card to the network and they don't have a clear solution for it.
Poor searching and performance
Poor search experience when looking up by id which makes it pretty much unusable - slow performance in just getting the app open making this a painful daily routine
App hardly works
Every time I open the app, or click on anything it spins forever, even on high bandwidth connections.
It also forgets who I am, needing to sign back in all the time, made worse by lack of integration with iOS password app.
More recently the charging unit itself keeps resetting causing the car to stop charging. Often when I plug in my car the entire interface starts to flicker causing the other car to stop charging. This in turn happens to me when someone else plugs in their car.
Worse than that, after it disconnects they start charging idle fees. If it happens at the start of a 1 hour meeting, you end up paying 30+ minutes of idle fees before you get a chance to disconnect your car.
This is the worst ev charger ever.

Unbelievably buggy app
The app keeps logging me out every other day. After logging in with OTP, it asks for password again. The landing page takes so long to load and it keeps forcing me to turn on my location. Why ?? Just use my default location. The home page shows me the map of USA with all the stations count. Why do i need to see the stations across America ? Half of the stations at my work are broken.

Constant issues
I’ve had nonstop issues with this app, which is terrible because charging my car is really important and I need it to be reliable. Issues include poor experience, signing up to non-public networks and even not sending the SMS login code
$10 option…
Haven’t had any issues when using the EVGateway chargers I have come across. Please add a lesser amount than the $20 you have in the app to fund accounts. $10 would be great, or add the option for inputting any amount $10 or more.
