Horrible App

It wonโ€™t let me sign in or make a new account. There is nowhere to reach out to anyone. I am just stuck.

Thought I would use it to

Measure my eye distance but it requires glasses I wanted to measure so my vr headset would work properly but this app is really stupid

It works and is quite accurate!!!

If youโ€™re having trouble figuring out your PD you definitely need this app and the glasses. It worked for me. I had my PD checked at the eye doctor but I wanted to test these, as well, in case I ever lost/misplaced my info. Which, Iโ€™m notorious for doing. The numbers from the doctor and the app/glasses were identical. I was skeptical this wasnโ€™t going to work at first, but Iโ€™m happily surprised that it not only worked but was accurate. So, donโ€™t be discouraged from giving these a try. $12 bucks isnโ€™t a lot and hopefully you will yield the same great results. Thank you eyeque!!!๐Ÿค“๐Ÿ•ถ๐Ÿฅธ๐Ÿ’•

FAQ

What is EyeQue PDCheck?

EyeQue PDCheck is a mobile application designed to accurately measure your pupillary distance (PD). This measurement is crucial for ordering prescription glasses or ensuring proper fit for virtual reality headsets. The app utilizes your smartphone's camera and requires the use of specific PDCheck Frames for accurate readings.

How do I measure my pupillary distance with this app?

To measure your PD, you first need to put on the PDCheck Frames. Then, using the app, take a selfie or have a friend take a picture of you. You will then adjust markers within the app to align with the center of your pupils and the frames for an accurate measurement.

Do I need to buy anything to use the app?

Yes, the PDCheck Frames are required for the app to function and provide accurate measurements. These frames can be purchased separately on the EyeQue website. The app itself is free to download and use once you have the necessary frames.

What is pupillary distance (PD) used for?

Pupillary distance (PD) is the distance between the centers of your pupils. This measurement is essential for opticians to accurately center prescription lenses in your glasses frames. It also ensures optimal visual clarity and comfort when using VR headsets.

Is this app compatible with all smartphones?

While the description doesn't specify exact compatibility, the app is designed to work with smartphones that have a camera capable of taking clear photos. Users should ensure their device meets the general requirements for running mobile applications and has a functional camera.
