Request for an update

Love the app so far. It’s simple and easy to use. But I would like to request that the on/off switch to turn fall detection on on the watch be moved away from the “help” button. My father in law turned it off on accident and we didn’t even know it until I checked his watch. So we wouldn’t have been notified if he fell.

Excellent customer service

Had some trouble getting my watch to recognize the app and emailed customer service. Got a very quick reply and they worked with me to get everything set up. My daughter was emailing as well and they even recognized that she was emailing about my issue and told her they were in the process of helping me. I was very impressed!!

Doesn’t work

I fell twice now with my phone in my pocket. It did nothing each time. My wife was paired with me and she received no notifications.

Fall detection

Fall detection - why does the fall detection always asked me to be turned on shouldn’t it be turned on all the time?

Running falldetect

Falldetect shuts off around 60 seconds after being started.. how do I keep running when needed?

FAQ

What does FallCall Detect do?

FallCall Detect is a comprehensive safety app designed for older adults. It offers 24/7 emergency monitoring, smart fall detection that differentiates fall severity, and integrates with Apple's crash detection for iPhones. It also provides features like cellular medical alerts and the ability to unlock smart locks for emergency services.

How does the smart fall detection work?

The app's 'Smart' fall detection for Apple Watch is backed by research to differentiate fall severity. High-impact falls can trigger notifications to monitoring services and caregivers, and can dispatch emergency services if needed. Lower-impact falls, like sitting falls, will notify the user's caregroup only.

What are the subscription costs?

There are multiple subscription options. The 24/7 Monitoring Service is $17.99/month. Connected Pendant/Wristband subscriptions include a 'Caregroup ONLY Help Calls' option for $9.99/month and a 'Caregroup + 24/7 Monitor Help Calls' option for $19.99/month.

What devices is FallCall Detect compatible with?

The app is designed to work with Apple Watch for fall detection and iPhone 14 and later for crash detection. It also supports compatible Kwikset Halo locks and Trelawear or FallCall brand pendants. It functions over cellular, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth for equipped Apple Watch and iPhone devices.

How can caregivers stay informed?

Caregivers can be paired with elders to receive notifications during help calls. During an event, caregivers receive real-time text updates. They can also see the elder's location, heart rate, and battery levels for their Apple Watch and cellular medical alert device.
