Great App for International Transfers, but Watch Out for Speed
That said, there are a couple of downsides. The exchange rates tend to be a bit on the higher side compared to some other services, so that’s something to keep in mind if you’re transferring larger amounts. Also, while the app advertises quick transfers, the money doesn’t always arrive instantly. It usually takes 1 to 2 days for the funds to reach the recipient, which can be a little inconvenient if you need the transfer to be faster.
Despite these few drawbacks, I still find Fin.do to be a solid choice for international money transfers and would recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use option.

Hidden fees and unfair fraud flagging
Banned for life because I used an old card
My story: I registered with Fin.do and tried to make a payment with a card in my Apple wallet (Fin.do defaults to this). By mistake, I choose a debit card I’d cancelled a few weeks back. Instead of just displaying an error that the card could not be used, Fin.do asked me to prove ownership of the cancelled card. This is impossible as all bank statements obscure the full card number and I obviously don’t have the physical card.
I asked them to delete the card and they said that’s impossible as they can’t access customer accounts. Ok, so I suggested we delete my account and start again which they agreed to. When I created a new account and provided ID there was a wait of a few days. I then chased their customer support and was told I was not allowed to create a new account and would be banned from the platform for life.
Obviously fin.do have a duty to prevent card fraud but the card had already been cancelled and should not even have been possible to start a transaction with. Their customer support were rude and unprofessional and treated me like a criminal.
