Humidity Removed, Boilerplate Response

I actually really liked this app for the most part. In fact it helped inform me of some issues I wasn’t even aware of in my cooling. I’m lucky I got my dehumidifier in just days before they elected to remove the humidity from the display.

I’m writing this display to add in the pile on in hopes they apply a hotfix to revert this. The boilerplate response to check your physical thermostat (or call and be told the same thing) is infuriating. Obviously this is affecting many many customers and the CS response is to fluff us off. Disappointing.

If they revert his I’ll bring it up to 4* maybe 5* if the dashboard showed an active status. For example telling you when the system is actively cooling/hearing as opposed to just on/off/auto.

Think I’m going back to my next thermostat.

None of the temperatures match from the dashboard to the priority screen. My app stopped calculating run time. Says my ac only ran 3 hrs on Friday and well I live in Az and it’s 108 outside. App should also give more info on runtime, like how often it’s on high or low speeds. I guess just get it to work correctly first. How do we contact developers of app. Would be nice if we had the choice to use the original app as it worked better.

False alarms.

All of a sudden I keep getting notifications saying there’s smoke and smoke is rising. A few times when nobody is home causing some anxious moments while I try to figure out and check my cameras to see what’s going on. The smoke detector is definitely not a nest protect replacement and the app is now making it worse .

What Happened?

The app was amazing until the humidity level was removed. Where did it go?

App Downgraded - August 2026

I updated the app today, and it no longer shows the humidity levels in my house or gives me an option for notifications regarding humidity levels. I specifically use the app to alert me when the humidity is too high, and that function appears to have been removed (which is specifically shown as a feature in this app’s screenshots).

Naming constant confusion!

So I’ve got a Honeywell thermostat, but you wanna call it Resideo? What does that even mean?… but no then you make it worse. Now we’re calling it First Alert for my Honeywell home thermostat? You couldn’t have possibly created more confusion in an app naming. Maybe try calling the app Honeywell Home, and having a separate called Honeywell business for your corporate business accounts.

This Old Lady…👵🏻

… never needs to ask someone to raise or lower the thermostat! 🥳❤️

App Crashed on MAC

App doesn’t even open for 1 second on MAC without crashing. Needs work!

**Update**

I just posted a 4 star review but now I’m taking it down to a 1 because of the removal of the humidity reading. What an “update” to remove what little features there are for thermostats.
I really hope this new app will show the system status when it’s running and not running as well as a color indicator for cooling and heating. That should’ve already been implemented. Is the color part necessary no, but it makes for a nice modern looking UI.

After reading developer comments, they are total BS. My thermostat is showing humidity and the app still doesn’t. It’s a developer app problem not a thermostat problem. They’re just trying to come up with excuses to their very poor UI. Makes me want to change thermostats to something that actually has good UI functionality.

Eficiente

Me permite controlar a distancia el aire acondicionado.

Like it

Like it, not love it only because sometimes they just like to kick off the wifi and online, offline, online….

Where’s humidity

Love thermostat. Did show humidity till I updated app.

Runtime

The runtime shown is not current. Why does it take hours/days to see how much the unit is running. Is there anything to do to improve this feature?

Humidity reading disappear

The humidity indicator is no longer available, I tried to look for it in the setting but I had no luck

Humidity Reading Disapeared

For some reason the humidity reading from my ac thermostat disappeared from the app.

Once again, a rebrand is coming!

Every app I download and open and create an account t for tells me oh hey we actually have a different app for you download this other one. Sends you in pointless circles - can you really not have one or two apps that work??? This one is changing AGAIN!!! Such a mess of an infrastructure.

Outside temperatures wrong

The outside temperature is off by 10-15 degrees

Good

It’s very easy to program

Off line

So many times a month offline. I am not sure if this is a router issue or an app issue but it’s super annoying.
