Doesn’t connect
Appears to be impossible to connect fire to app via bluetooth.
appalling to use
just an exercise in frustration.. and thats only trying to register, couldnt get past that part to see more of the app.
Terrible Aspire terrible app
Terrible Aspire terrible app, Aspire 30 sounds like a drone on low power and like the inside of a jet plane on a higher heat. It is appalling. The app won't connect, though I've tried repeatedly. Some service from Dimplex would be nice!

Can’t register to pair my Ignite Bold because the app says it is not on their system. Contacted support multiple times and they are just apathetic and not able to do anything to help. One of the reasons I purchased this model was for the online connectivity, so I feel this company is false advertising based on the number of reviews with the same problem. Do yourself a favor and avoid Dimplex. The headache and frustration are just not worth your time.

Useless app and poor customer service
This app along with customer service is very poor. I had the same issue as several others did with registration and the developers responses to them is clearly useless. Tried calling customer arrive many times but they don’t pick up and don’t return calls. I entered the pins correctly and like others when trying to pair with Bluetooth the fireplace doesn't give a code to pair with the app. I wish I hadn’t spent the money on this Dimplex fireplace now.
NB: The PIN number for Bluetooth is on a label on your product, it will also be the same PIN number you entered when verifying the ID and PIN on the first step. I entered it correctly.

Does not work
App registration doesn't work. I’ve been trying to register an XL Bold for months and the all won’t validate the fireplace ID. Support is slow, inefficient and so far was not able to help three months after purchase.

App doesn’t work.
Bought an Ignite Bold and when trying to pair it to the app I keep getting an error saying invalid ID or PIN. Contacted Dimplex support and they told me to try again.

Garbage
This app is absolute garbage - customer service required to get the email verification code to work, and when trying to pair with Bluetooth the fireplace doesn’t give a code to pair with the app. What a disaster.
Spend 5000 on a XL Bold and this app is junk
After several times I finally got it to connect and saved several fires. However if your wifi or power goes out all your presets will be gone and your login ! Now I cannot even get it to connect by restarting the whole process over again. But what’s the point anyway if I am gonna lose the presets again. BTW this will only connect to a 2G source. Their software will not populated it so make sure your on it from the jump. I wish I would have bought another brand of fireplace now.

Worst Ever
I just spent a gazillion dollars on having a 50 inch Evolve installed. The app was working fine until I changed my wifi network. It would not connect through Bluetooth or manually and now the unit will no go into Bluetooth mode at all. I’ve reached out to customer service multiple ways. We will see when/if I get a response. BTW….more than 25 other devices connected to my new wifi seamlessly. The problem has been isolated to this app and this unit. Beyond frustrating!

Stops working after a few weeks
Initially, it works fine and after a few weeks, begins to get very slow and finally it stops working and needs to be reinstalled.

Sign up stopped at the email verification. I never received an email with the code to proceed. Please fix.
