What a POS
I’ve spent over an hour on multiple occasions trying to get this damn app to work. … nope. Every time I log in I have to re initialize it and reset the breaker and unplug the car and try again.
App Won’t Work
Won’t connect. Even electrician said “you should have read the reviews, that app is terrible” Truck charges as expected. I like my truck hopefully ford will get some solid updates and get this working
Terrible Setup
Won’t connect to Wifi. On with support 30min to no avail. Can’t find Wifi. The “Wifi setting” button takes you to the Apps list instead of Wi-Fi settings.

Circular reference in the app. Should take it off the App Store.

Seriously. There’s a reason Ford is giving these chargers away. Go get literally any other brand of charger, these are garbage.

Will not connect, will loose connection… Trust me and save yourself a headache. No wonder Ford gives these chargers away free…
App simply does not work - Mach-E driver
This my first ever negative review on the App Store, but this deserves it. I received a free Ford Charge Station Pro and free basic installation with my Mach-E purchase. But this had not worked. The charger works, the car is great, but there is no network connection or additional benefit. This network installation is worthless.

Cannot actually complete setup, pretty sure this app is useless and interface with ford pass is poor. Infinite loop between the two.
How is it this bad?
Apps that you first connect to, then connect to your home WiFi have been around for years (smart thermostats, doorbells, etc) How is it possible for an app that uses this procedure to be THIS TERRIBLE in 2025?
After I FINALLY got connected to the CSP, then to my home network, I was amazed… only for it to then fail to bridge to the Ford Pass app. (Why is CSP a stand alone app and not just integrated into Ford Pass by default.. or an option to check/uncheck if you want that feature?? )
So now my truck charges at like 2kw /hr. This app is garbage and the devs should be ashamed. Go back to python for dummies, maybe ask ChatGPT to code it for you? Couldn’t be much worse.

Terrible App
Why do we need two apps? Charger Connected to the app the first time. Never stays connected. Tried step 2 to connect the charger to my ford pass app and it failed saying incorrect charge station or access code. Over and over. Those are fields the app populated itself. Called support. They told me to shut off my charger at the breaker. Not sure why since other than two poorly designed apps, the charger works fine. I will likely never get this to work which is a bummer for a 50k car.

Useless, after 30 minutes was able to get this app to find the charger. It does no good however because you can not use this app to get the ford pass app to recognize the charger which is what it’s supposed to do. Have tried doing it manually and through the apps. Does not work.

I’ve had a very frustrating experience with the Ford Charge Station Pro app. Initially, I had the charger successfully connected to my Wi-Fi network, but every time I tried to link the Ford Charge Station Pro app with the FordPass app, both apps would crash. I contacted support for help, and they advised me to turn off the charger at the electrical panel and perform a reset. After doing that, my charge station became stuck in reset mode. I called support again, and they suggested the same reset steps, but now my Ford Charge Station Pro won’t reconnect to Wi-Fi. Support then told me I might need a separate Wi-Fi network for the app to function correctly. It’s incredibly disappointing that the app was working fine at first, but after following support’s guidance, the situation only worsened. Awful experience.

Dead End
My phone connected to the charger wifi no problem. However, after many tries the app does not recognize it as the charging station. Absolutely zero help anywhere for getting this resolved and no way of using the charger to his full capabilities.
