Frustrating can’t get the app to download

Every time I use the app to make a house payment, monthly I have to update the app. Then I have to verify. It’s a nuisance that takes 20 minutes every month. The app doesn’t make Pain house payments easier. Ing and frustrating. I also have to close windows where they make sales pitches.

Face id doesn’t work. Have to keep entering credentials

App is trash

They change this thing more than I change my socks and screw it up every time more. The people you call are absolutely worthless. Complete trash. Trash.

Horrible update

The new update is genuinely horrendous. If you were trying to make it more convenient, it isn't. I'm in my 20s and I personally preferred the old design. Not everything needs to be redone/redesigned.

Can't even download the app on iPhone.

New update stinks

The newest update (second quarter 2026) has lots of bugs. The older version worked fine…fire the new dev team rehire the old team.

No FICO score. Annoying emails

The app is always emailing me that I can view my FICO score but there’s no where in the app that has it. And they even email me the link and it just goes to the homepage.

Frequently forced updates

They update this app every 2 seconds and force you to update to use it. Moving things around constantly is annoying and I’m not seeing the benefit. I just want to pay my mortgage. Keep it simple

Not easy to navigate

I don’t know what happened with that update but it should not be this hard for me to find my documents for MY house on this app.
I just want a simple statement and it is no where to be found.

Junk app and company

Shouldn’t have to still use a log in and password EVERY TIME after I enabled face ID. How much security do I need? Is a stranger going to pay my mortgage?? Duh!

Log in, send code, get code, apply code, code is invalid. Not great.

This app takes 1st place in the worst login experience imaginable. Every time, I have to type my email and password over and over again.

What a cesspool

Over and over they update this app, and it continues to not work. It’s literal disappointment for the last 6 years we have had a mortgage through Freedom. Not sure why a multi-million dollar corporation can’t fix this, but it is a nightmare. I am so happy we are selling our house and our new mortgage is with a different company. This is such a cesspool.

Poorly designed, focused on upsell and not customer needs

This App just updated for June 2026 and somehow it is WORSE than it already was. Customer’s want to see their balance but the font is so small that a child with readers in can’t see it. It used to be 3 clicks to find it (terrible UI) but now it’s just so small it’s pointless. Still tries to get you to take out other loans. Shows your home value and FICO score in size 32 don’t but your balance and loan rate in font size 6. Pop-ups will nag the heck out of you. Also tricks you into going paperless. It’s TERRIBLE! Reduced to 1 star. No longer can send a request for help - no “other option”. Terrible customer service.

Update is Horrible!!!

Guess instead of helping you manage your account they just want to sell you something else. The app landing page is a mess. Have to click around to get to account info rather than all upfront as it was before.

Can’t get past forgot password

The keypad will not go away after entering ssn preventing me from tapping the next button. Fix this

Hate new version

The text about my loan is so small I can’t even read it! But the offers and my credit score, the things I can care less about are 10x the font size. Please FIX!!!!

Unable to selectively turn off promotional notifications

This is just a horrendous practice. App holding you hostage to their promotions or you won’t get account info notifications.
