App problems

This app is constantly rebooting it never stays up for two days and constantly crashing this is terrible

Fraud

Dont install and use this app. Once you top up some amount into your gcash account, they will suddenly logged out your account and you will not be able to receive an OTP when you login back.

International traveler BEWARE

Make sure you spend or transfer your money prior to leaving the Philippines. The moment you leave the country you will be locked out of the app and there is no getting it back.

Difficult getting it set up in the first place so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised it would be difficult on the back end as well.

I do not recommend if you are visitor to the country.

Otp

I’ve had my phone number for a very long time and have been using the same number for my GCash account. However, one day I suddenly stopped receiving OTPs, and since then I haven’t been able to access my GCash account.

This is very concerning because I have money in my GCash wallet as well as funds in my savings account linked to GCash. I’ve been trying to resolve the issue, but I honestly don’t understand why the dispute and account recovery process has to be so difficult, especially when customers can provide valid IDs and other information to verify their identity.

My mom is also experiencing another issue. Her old phone broke, so we downloaded GCash on her new phone. However, she cannot access her account because GCash says that the account is still registered to the old phone—which is already broken and cannot be accessed.

Has anyone experienced either of these problems?

1. Not receiving OTPs despite still having the registered phone number.
2. Unable to access GCash on a new phone because the account is still registered to a broken old device.

If anyone knows the proper way to resolve these issues or how to reach someone from GCash who can actually help with account recovery, I would really appreciate your advice. 🙏🏻
