Great App!!!

Golf Gains goes way beyond just golf. It’s helped me build a stronger, more athletic body while improving my performance on the course.
I’ve added distance, reduced aches and pains, and feel more confident every time I tee it up. The programming is top-tier and keeps you progressing without overthinking it.

Fantastic App

This is hands down the best golf fitness program I’ve ever used. Structured workouts, real strength training, and results that actually carry over to the course.

The workouts are simple, effective, and built to help you hit the ball farther without feeling beat up. I’m moving better, swinging faster, and actually enjoying the process.

No simple and upfront canceling option

Love the idea. But the fact you can’t cancel from that app and it’s not a straight forward subscription canceling from the website looks scammy. That’s such a red flag. It feels like those cheap budget gyms that make it impossible to cancel their memberships.

You’re Gonna Need a Gym

I did a 14 day free trial and only made it a week before canceling. The 14 day trial offered 3 styles of programs, each with a different level of equipment needed. 1) Full gym equipment 2) Basic home gym (basic dumbbells, kettlebell, resistance bands) 3) No equipment, just your body.

I started off with a home gym because I have the basics, nothing special. I couldn’t even complete the first workout because it included an exercise that needed a cable machine that most people would need a gym for. The cable machine was not on the list of equipment needed. Each exercise has an option for alternative exercises but when you go to the alternative exercise menu, it’s just a list of every exercise available. It would be acceptable if it gave me 1-5 alternatives I could do that worked the same area but using different equipment but it doesn’t do that.

I then switch to the no equipment program and the very first exercise needed an elevated platform to jump on and off of. Remember, it’s just me at home, am I suppose to be jumping on and off my couch? I had to pause and search my house for something that would work as a replacement. I couldn’t find anything stable enough to use so even the no equipment program was a no go.

The app is cool and it looks like it has some interesting workouts but the workouts themselves seem to be an afterthought.

I will be sticking with my Apple Fitness workouts for now as they are actually accessible for someone at home with minimal equipment.
