Title says it all.
Annoying
When trying to look at a device that is on the app, you have to cancel out and reload the app otherwise it won’t affect any change. Very annoying.
Presence Sensing Broken
This app continues to disappoint compared to the Nest app. After working fine for over a year presence sensing just gives the error:
“Something went wrong. Phone-based presence settings aren’t currently available.”

Got it for the TV Remote
Got the app for the universal remote, it works maybe 50% of the time. Great remote when it does work though, that's why the 3 stars

You collect too much PI data from users - Financial info, contacts….
Lags and delays
Constant lags. Sometimes is unreliable, and it’s not about the wifi.
Works well
I enjoy using voice command. However, something seems to have changed. I used to be able to say turn on or off all lights and now I must name each light.

Nightmare with nest thermostat
The nest thermostat we have doesn’t allow it to connect with nest app, but only the Google home app. But the GH app constantly drops it. It says the thermostat is offline, but the thermostat says it’s connected to the WiFi. Restart, reset, unplug, plug, delete, reconnect, at least twice a week. Do better!

Downhill
Google home has gone so far downhill it is almost useless. The assistant barely works or doesn’t give answers like it used to. I get that money is being spent on Gemini and that software and hopefully the older devices can get that incorporated in a future version. Google home has limited options on things that should be standard and easy to do. Very sharp decline and service is ridiculous.

Moving from the nest app is horrible!
I seriously wish the Google Home app worked better. It’s constantly closing when I’m trying to view cameras anytime you’re trying to look at video feed. It keeps saying it’ll be unavailable. It’ll take a while. Try again later. The Nest app worked much better and able to actually view the videos and go back-and-forth. Hopefully the Google Home app gets a better update and more control to it.

Love knowing who comes to the door.
Love my Google Nest camera. I can see when packages are left. I can see whoever pulls in the driveway to turn around because the map feature took them to the wrong street. It’s not a thru street but maps show it is.
Either "access_token" or "error" must be set in the fragment.

Depuis que mes caméras sont passés de Nest à Google home j'ai plein de problèmes je reçois notification de détection de personnes quand c'est plutôt une voiture qui passe devant chez moi ou un arbre qui bouge avec le vent c'est vraiment terrible comme application et que dire du service à la clientèle vraiment déplorable.

Used to be simple
Nest used to be super easy to use. If I’m away I set away temperature. If I want colder at night I set to night temp. Now it’s super confusing, I’m in tech and I can’t use it. Might be switching to another provider, not user friendly anymore
