App is full of bugs

Not great, I can’t use the app for all answers due to format and functional issues

Poor

Seems like a way for them to automatically send a bunch of passive aggressive letters, questionnaires and avoid any actual work or contact.

It might not be too late for you

If you still have the option not to use Gorvins, please believe me when I say you're better off with any other conveyancer.

On the app specifically:
The idea of keeping all the process documents in one place is good. Having to tap back and forward a million times between different documents, half of which have the same name, is bad. It's just impossible to find what you need, I think I will have to manually export every doc to a Google drive folder, it's driving me nuts.

Good idea badly executed

It’s good if they actually use it

Based on the app (and not my awful experience of the company) It started off really well and was kept updated but my case handler changed and he never updated and never responded to messages. Pretty useless app

Great App! Very simple

Contrary to other reviews, I found it to be super easy to use. Questions and tasks easily laid out rather than a massive long form to fill in or tons of paperwork.
Uploading documents is super quick.
Nothing negative about the app in my opinion

Could be better

The concept of the app is promising, yet its execution appears lacking in strategic planning and user-focused intent. It gives the impression that it was developed primarily to benefit the firm rather than providing a helpful experience for clients. Many of the questions within the questionnaires seem unrelated, almost as if they were directly transferred from a paper form into the digital system. The app's navigation can be frustrating, and the absence of notifications for updates or important tasks is disappointing. Reading extensive documents on a mobile phone is inconvenient, and inputting numerous answers feels time-consuming. It would have been beneficial to offer a desktop version, and still allowing users to monitor progress on their phones. Additionally, the chat system's responsiveness from the team is notably sluggish.

The app is fine, the solicitors not.

The app itself is great, however the solicitor does not respond or acknowledge the messages sent through it, and if your mortgage application takes over a week to get the mortgage offer, you start getting harassed and threatened to close the account by your solicitor!

Poor

The app is a good idea, but in reality doesn’t work for reviewing documents, dealing with queries etc as it limits most people to a mobile phone. Very clumsy, awkward and not really fit for purpose.

Perfectly professional

I used Gorvins to help with my remortgage with Metro Bank.

For most of the process I was looked after by Daniel who was incredibly helpful and answered any questions I may have had and kept me up to date.

Highly recommended and thank you.

Pathetic app

There are so many places where this app requires improvement. Completely stuck with this. I am planning to change my solicitors if I have to continue using this app

Needs work

There are areas which an answer doesn’t apply but you have no choice but to give one to move on. For example, “If you’re currently in rented accommodation, please supply the end date of your tenancy” what if you’re not in rented accommodation and living with parents?
