Seriously rubbish
Why don’t you update it to allow passkeys on mobile devices.

Unable to login to app
I have been unable to login to the Grabaseat app for a few years now! I have reloaded the app and had long discussions with airNZ support who basically told me they were unable to help, would find more information out for me and get back to me, which they never did!
Can’t log in
No matter how many times I try to change my passwords or delete and redownload the app I can’t log in using my existing air nz account details and I also can’t make a new account because I already have an existing account
Dead and should be grounded
Unfortunately, can’t give zero stars. 1.7 stars overall and previous reviews say it all.
Login not working (no forgotten password link) on iPhone17e iOS 26.5.1 .. asks me to register with AirNZ from where I’ve just checked my login details are still valid.
Fix it or remove it from APP Store, Air NZ.

Unusable without MFA
Unfortunately, grabaseat having been untouched for 2 years has left the app frustrating to use now that Air NZ has moved to passkeys and MFA. Grab a seat doesn’t support this, or use the identity.airnewzealand.com web login to sign in to an account. By the sounds of things, their poor support people aren’t aware of this issue. Please update your app, AirNz!
