not letting me in
My mom can see how much money is on the card but I can’t. I believe that I should be able to see how much money is on the card because I’m the one who is using it. We tried to try to hook me up for two days now. Even though my mom has done the same thing over and over. It is a pain. I left 3 stars not because it is bad. Just because I don’t have enough information about the app to give a honest review. Welp!

This was my first debit card and legitimately helped me
I absolutely love the update to the investing page!
I have been waiting for something like this where it shows me my chart for the past years, months, weeks and days this new update for the entire investment page is so sleek and so nice and user friendly thank you!

it sometimes it declines for no reason but when and if u lose it and don’t have a way to track that wallet ur done for this happened to me and im still looking for it a way to track it thru the app would be great but other than those 2 I love it

App decided to log me out of my own account and when I try to get it to send me an email to confirm it’s me it won’t send

Greenlight is a great app, but i have one request: please make it so you can find your card from the app, like Find My or something! Great app!

Worst app ever
The app is actually the worst app that I’ve ever used for children’s finances because every single time I would get a lot of money in my account I would get random charges on my account and all of my money would be drained and I don’t have any subscriptions or apps that require money being taken out of my account and not only me but multiple people that I have talked to about this app have the same issue, it is truly one of the worst apps I have used

Can you guys fix the paper trading glitches or prevent cheaters because you’re gonna tell me someone made 7 billion dollars in maybe a couple weeks while having their growth percentage almost their entire account profit. That seems pretty sketchy to me. Can you please fix this?

What they don’t tell you is if you don’t have money on your parent account (on Greenlight) they will change the monthly fee to the child’s money .
And it takes over 30 days to add a bank account to be able to take money off of the app without using an atm and occurring fees .
You also have withdrawal limits that they WILL not disclose to anybody “it’s a safety risk” like how ???
To close an acct you have to get through the ai bot to get to the live representative and they still take 5-60 minutes to respond . They can request a full balance withdrawal but still takes 5-7 days.. unfortunately I got other people onto the app dealing with the same issues.

Fraudulent Charges
My kids were so excited to use Greenlight. They were earning and saving money all summer. Within 6 months of having the account my daughter’s account was used in a fraudulent purchase. She lost all of her money in one single transaction. We reported it immediately and Greenlight said it was a normal purchase and would not investigate further or get her money back. I absolutely would not ever recommend Greenlight to anyone. Absolutely terrible customer service.

Be Aware
I think the company itself is a scam, you can easily transfer money in but if you want to transfer money out you have to go through many obstacles and roadblocks. The idea is ok, but their shady tactics are asking for a class action lawsuit. Just be aware! If you ever need to transfer money out you need to go through weeks of waiting for no reason. Of course it is all about security!! No, it is not, you link your account with Plaid so they can get all your bank info (and sell it to other companies) but at the same time you need to wait weeks to be allowed to transfer any money back to your main bank account.
