So much room to improve
As a product designer, using this app is a headache Number one, the search bar requires multiple clicks in order to register that you want to type something in. There is a pause between the clicks which makes you think that maybe you haven’t clicked so you click again and then the search bar collapses. Every search I did took longer because of this. Two, I don’t think there’s any reason why an app shouldn’t accept Apple Pay, if there’s operational reasons behind this at least auto fill which is ingrained into iOS as a feature anyway should be utilised instead of having to go get my physical card and come back. Three, If fields e.g. phone number are required not optional there should be an indication of this in the form rather than going through the entire form and then being told you’re missing require requirements. There are many other pain points within this journey. I would be happy for somebody at Holland and Barrett to reach out and have a conversation.

The most confusing site ever
This company makes it almost impossible to see what it is exactly and how much you are buying. The dose per tablet is not written clearly. On Magnesiun citrate for example it says on the front of the bottle that it is 300 mgs. But it’s not till you examine the back of the bottle that you discover it’s actually 100 mgs per tablet but you have to take 3! So a bottle of 90 will do for a month not 3 months. Imagine if prescription drugs were written like that. They need to write the mgs per Tablet clearly on the front of the packaging.
Coupled with the ever changing “ special offers “ buy one get one free” or “3 for 2” etc etc. It makes buying from Holland and Barrett an absolute minefield. You would need an Excel spreadsheet to work things out. Of course it’s done deliberately to confuse the customer. I call it the Ryan Air vitamin website. It’s SHARP PRACTICE
I wish they would make it simpler and the ability to compare similar products would be a step on the right direction.

All things comes from small package
I have to say that people tend to neglect the importance of nutrients by not eating what we’re supposed to eat. We eat and drink and we think that’s enough. We don’t feel anything when we’re younger but as you grow up you will find that something is missing that’s why I go to H&B to get the additional nutrients through vitamins and not only just for me but for my whole family. So, the vitamins from H&B is the complete package for me. And now, they made the reward point system so easy to use, it’s no brainer.

Easy to use but would like more filters
The app is great and generally easy to use, I just wish there was some extra filter options for offers? Although you can already filter for what products are under promotion, it would be nice if you could specify which promotion, like 3 for 2 vs. BOGO. Alternatively, when you click through the promoted offers banners from the Home Screen, it would be helpful if you could search for specific products under the specific offer category, like having a smaller search bar separate from the main one that says “search within this category.” Just my thoughts while using the app ☺️
