They do not pay you.
Tried to do this as a extra way to get money and it was great at first until my app started messing up and from there I wasn’t getting my pay it was almost like my earnings were backed up. I tried to contact customer service but of course was getting the run around and was blatantly being lied to that I’ve received all my earnings.

Waste of time
I was so hopeful for this service. The app is very clunky on my iPhone but I could overlook that as long as the service was acceptable. Unfortunately it was a real let down. I would spend the time to sort the laundry only to have no one claim my order. I always tipped well when it did get claimed but it didn’t help with the consistency of the service. So disappointing. Canceled subscription.

Damaged clothes, poor execution
Hampr damaged my clothes with poor resolution. Washers would not accept loads for days on end and then would cancel once I had clothes already outside. Don’t recommend for DFW market.
They ruined all my clothes
I only used this service once or twice. I sent my detergent with the team. They clearly didn’t use it and used something else because it ruined all my express shorts. Those shirts never used to wrinkle and they came back all wrinkled and I’ve never been able to get all the wrinkles out. This was about 5 years ago. Also just found out I’ve been on auto renewal. Don’t do this service!!!!!!

Used to be better
When the app first came out it was great and reasonable I haven’t used it in a long while but now it’s pricey double the price I was paying before they want to “upgrade” in order to get your clothes washed in warm water like what
Poor customer service
Signed up for hampr loaded and was very pleased with my experience until today. Sent out two loads of laundry to get cleaned and when it came back the next day, both loads came back with pet dander on it. Customer service asked for photos of the clothing so I pulled samples from both baskets and sent it to customer service. I pulled dark colored items because it was easier to see the dander. I simply asked for a credit to have my clothes rewashed and go about my day. They initially issued me one credit but I asked them for two credits because I had two loads. Customer service rep Jonah told me that if I wanted an additional credit, I would have take a photo of all 50+ articles of clothing in order to get an additional credit. That’s an unreasonable request when I’ve already pulled samples from both baskets and they obviously had dander on them. I’m sad that I had to cancel my premium membership because it was good while it lasted. If and when you run into a customer service issue, don’t expect much from hampr when it comes to resolution. I’ll be utilizing a different service that isn’t willing to lose a customer over $15.

First time user
My daughter gifted this to me. Brittany was fantastic! What a wonderful service.
Useless
This app demanded way too much personal info/equipment info. I put in a ton of effort to get everything they asked for and then immediately received a rejection email without any reason.
Not worth it
Their customer service is pretty terrible. The first person to do my laundry was great, the second just shows up and cancels. CS says you’re supposed to leave your laundry outside, which is obviously a terrible idea.

The main app page won’t even load so I can schedule an order for my laundry.
Folding Inconsistent
I used Hampr for a while. The concept is great. When I think about how often I pay a fee for someone else to cook my food, a chore I actually enjoy, it got me wondering why I don’t save my money and cook, and pay people to do the chores I don’t like.
The thing I didn’t like with Hampr was that the folding was inconsistent. They give their Washr’s guidelines, but there’s varying interpretation of those guidelines. Plus I have a preferred way of folding certain things to fit neatly in my closet.
I now have someone I pay to do my laundry consistently, and the way I’ve requested. The downside is I work only on her schedule. So if she’s sick or goes on vacation, I have to work around that. But it’s worth it because I can make special requests for what I want.

Washr Experience
I worked for Hampr as a Washr. I had 5 stars and was frequently “favorited” by clients. Today, I received a complaint that the clothes returned had a “strong urine odor.” This is literally impossible as I kept everything completely separated and in a different room. They just didn’t want to pay for their laundry. And Hampr refused to pay me for hours worth of work. This was my FIRST (and obviously ridiculous) complaint. They don’t care at all about their employees and there is no quality control of customers.

Ruined my clothes
They ruined my clothes and did NOT refund me what I paid to have the clothes washed. Use Poplin instead!

I have used the Hampr app for a year and have always been pleased with their services. I don’t have a washer and dryer and live on the 2nd floor of an apartment complex, so having my laundry washed, dried, folded and delivered is amazing. I wish I had found them years ago. 🫶🏻
They charge you even after canceling.
I canceled the service back on march 7 even had a email stream of where I canceled. The stream even contains them offering me credit etc etc. I just replied to cancel the service and low and behold in true scammer behavior they attempted to charge my credit card. Such bogus bull!
