What's New in This Version Scan a barcode to log a meal — Open the scanner from the food form, adjust the amount, and save. Security & privacy in this release Barcode scanning — Only the barcode number is sent for a nutrition lookup, matched against public food databases (USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts). No personal or health information is included. The camera is used for scanning only, and no image is saved. Fewer permissions — Coaching sessions are now scheduled on our servers. The app no longer requests access to your Google Calendar, and any Google tokens stored earlier are removed from your device. Diagnostic data — More identifying details are removed before diagnostic reports leave your device, including dates of birth, detailed addresses, and national patient and fax numbers. Food photos — Please frame the food only. Avoid capturing anything that could identify you or someone else: faces, ID or insurance cards, prescription labels, medical paperwork, or a screen. Photos are saved with your entry and visible to your dietitian, so whatever is in the frame is shared too. Plus bug fixes and performance improvements.
